As in "I" came around too late. I played Fallout Tactics and really liked it so I thought I would give the original Fallout a try. I am sure that at the time, or maybe after giving the game enough time, it might be a good game, but I am afraid I am just spoiled by the newest crop of rpg's and other games. I still love the story and idea of it all, I just couldn't get into it. Tactics was what got me started and I am afraid thats where I stopped as well.

Best series I have ever played. Rivals Diablo II, Monkey Island, and all the greats. Intelligent game.

Very good game, nice roleplaying, very smooth gameplay, excellent graphics and sound. I like this game very much, not as good as Diablo 2 however :\

Ok, I bought both of these games when they came out, both were masterpieces and the only true RPG I had seen for a long time. You could have NPC's fight beside you, and the plot changes so much from the first quest in both games it's impossible to predict until the end. Plus, the system requirements are almost non-existent as long as you actually own a computer, you can probably play Fallout. Right beside riveting violence and mutants and viruses in the storyline, both games were really FUNNY! How could a gamer ask for more? So many side quests for you to go to and things to discover after you actually beat the game that possiblites are unlimited. (I don't want to give anything away, but finding the manual in the game is pretty cool at the end)And now, you can own BOTH for just 9.99! If I didn't have so much fun for years i'd feel very jipped now. BUY NOW! If you are a gamer who does not have these games you have been deprived! If you just work in an office, then you're boring and should play this to brighten up your computer life with some M-rated fun! Just click order now and stop reading this!

I've never played Fallout 1, but I loved Fallout 2, and I can tell you, it is a GREAT RPG.

Fallout is a great RPG with twist. Twisted humor, good character development and growth. All around right up with Balders Gate for an RPG, but better humor.

Both fallout and fallout 2 are awsome. They dont have the best graphics, but they have tons of style. You can make your charicter from scratch and deside just about everything about them. Combat is turn-based, which is a little strange at first, but if you play for a while, you will come to love it. I gotta warn you though, fallout is very addictive.

I don't want to write a long drawn out review so I'll get straight to the point. These are 2 great RPGs, and for this price it's almost like stealing. They have a very good battle system and a good plot line that draws you in. The only problem with this is that the graphics are bad to todays standards. But as I have always thought graphics dont make a game (usually), so buy this now.
