This game is awesome. The graphics on it are substantially better than the rest of the games, especially hooked up to and HDTV. The multiplayer is a lot of fun. The only downside to this game is that there are no planes that you can fly, like in Vice City and San Andreas, but it is not enough to affect my rating since they still put helicopters. I definitely recommend this game, but not for people that are too young, it can get a little explicit. Go and buy this game, you will be glad you did.

This game has a great story, a great big sprawling environment, and a lot of fun distractions. The graphics are excellent and it seems like Rockstar perfected the style they've been developing for this series for so long.

GTA is an amazing game, they just keep getting better. The only bummer was they GTA IV has no airplanes, among a few other things, but the graphics ang game play are totally amazing!

Nothing much to say about this game. The graphics are great (although a little too much bloom lighting), the gameplay is great... what isn't there to like?
I'd recommend this game to anyone who isn't easily offended, and likes to run over hookers.

I really enjoyed this game, the best GTA so far. Alot of things that were unnecessary were taken out, like the experience bars from the last game. The one thing I would have liked is if there was local multiplayer capability like in San Andreas. The online multiplayer is good as long as you have a good internet connection. I recommend this game to anyone that has played the others, or likes games that have open levels to roam through.

GTA IV has flaws that will irritate you, like police that lend a new definition to the word stupid and rampant inconsistency of physics, but you'll still have a lot of fun. As in 30 hours minimum if you plan on completing the game.

The multiplayer is truly awful. It seems like the lowest class of people are flocking to the online play. This isn't very surprising when you consider that GTA 4 online is as mindless as they come. Single player is good, although, it's not nearly as good as the hype machine led us to believe. The sycophantic video game press gushed over how great the story and dialogue were. I read one quote praising them as being "oscar worthy". The game is generally well written, but like any video game it has it's fair share of wincingly bad moments. For the most part GTA 4 is graphically impressive and should keep you occupied for 30-40 hours. After that I hope you have better things to do with your life.

Definitely believe the hype, this game is everything it claims to be and more. The gameplay is constant, the graphics are amazing and the characters are believable. For veteran GTA players some of the missions may be a little too easy which was a little surprising. Also the driving aspect of the game is a little more difficult than the previous GTA's. Once you get the hang of that, it will be smooth sailing. If you are looking or a game that will give you many hours of enjoyment I suggest GTA4. Be warned (for younger gamers) the game is full of violence and seedy language.

this is the longest game I have and the video seems so real and the place are real looking. I am still trying to complete the game but the game has so munch to do that the fun part because you can play for hours and have fun.

for the huge budget that gta had they could have put in more things like bmxs and private jet plane.... generally a good game though
