I bought, and PAID FOR, a Game Shark 2 from TOBEYSELL on August 10th. It was stated that it would have been shipped by the 12th and today is the 18th and it still has not begun its shipment to me. The very same time I purchased a PS2 and game and they were shipped next day and arrived by the 14th. I'm very pleased with those results yet for some reason my other purchased item has not been sent. You'd think that if for some reason the seller, TOBEYSELL, were out of stock they would refund my money or inform me of the reason for the hold up in shipping my merchandise.

We were all excited about the gameshark cuz heaven knows that with granTurismo along with a few other games you need the extra little push or help. So We got a gameshark. usually I will look into a product before I let my Fiance or myself buy one but he knew i wanted one so he went out and bought it for me. What a joke!!!!!! After we got it i figured what they hay give it a try. Then i thought again with all the crap i had to deal with in the mean time. I read on their site about it and would you beleive they are puttin all the blame on Sony? I wonder what they would say if i wrote about their stupid controller i bought that didnt even work on our hunting game...Poor justin couldnt shoot a thing. Didnt work on any others either so i exchanged it for one i knew would work. Man gameshark is a complete and utter joke and huge waste of money. Now some people say it isnt any good for target practice but we beg to differ out here. We have been gettin plenty mad at a few things and took it out on those discs. HA if ya wanna pay 30 or so dollars for it then yer waisting yer money unless you want expensive target discs!!!

I got the game shark when it was nearly brand new to the market. I was very excited to use it, but the first time I went to turn it on, and look for the "pre-loaded" codes, I could'nt find any. This was very disapointing, the codes were not there. I don't know if all of them had this glitch or if it was just mine, but its not somthing that I would put past Interact Acc.,. When they first released PS2, there was only a DVD remote control on the market by Interact. That contorler had a glitch and was recalled. The replacment worked OK, but the Sony remote was much better. I do not have Pelicans version, but others say that it is a better alt.

Gameshark 2 is Awful. More than half the time you use it it will not read the disc. You have to replace it like every year so that it might work better!

This has to be the most important review for this system because it will help you decide if the PS2 is right for you. I brought mine back in November 2001 & it started malfunctioning in January. (ONLY AFTER 2 MONTHS!?!?) Now I'm not sure it it's my fault or sony's human error. On their part the diagnonsis function does NOT work & in my opinion I found it to have no function. What I did was buy the already upgraded gameshark 1.9 on an auction website & it started messing up after that. Besides that, Gameshark.com aka interact accs. tells up to use only their codes in which I did, I haven't used any codes out side gameshark.com.Some of their codes do NOT work but they self-rightously claim that their codes work 100%. I even told them that I triple check codes for validity! With my 1.4 version PS1 gameshark brought in March 1997 & upgraded to 3.2 in November 1998- My 1997 Playstation 1 lasted for 2 years (Until July 1999) before I got the 1999 version which lasted for another 2 years!! (Until August 2001) I think that this is sony's FK up as they built the Playstation 2 to resist the gameshark. Let me just say that as long as there are video game systems that there will also be gamesharks, but there should NOT be intentional malfuntions to snatch more $$ from the average consumer! Oh, but wait! Currently my playstation 2 still does play the regular blue disks but not the silver dvd roms or dvd movies!-This has been many dollars for my thoughts.. not including the other games that I brought & do not work. Sony should just drop the price of the console already because the original price was not worth it!
A great accessory that saves you time and frustrating

GameShark 2 let you enter codes that will unlock hidden features or give you extra bonus for PS2 games. New codes are added to their website each day and there are tons of them for each game. It is a great add on and will surely saves you tons of time and frustrating.
Couple bad things about it is that you need to use its CD to load it up each time and switch CDs to play the real game later. And inputting code using the controller can get hard when you have tons of code to enter. (Have everything cheat in FFX has about 40 lines of code to enter, each are 16 characters long), so if you use it often, you may consider buying the keyboard as well.

I am still waiting for the gameshark 2 that I payed for, it has been over 5 months now and I still never got it even though amazon insists that I did, I contacted some people several times and they are still trying to track it down, I am very disappointed that I had to pay for something I did not get and I am never using amazon again, it is too unreliable and would appreciate if amazon would stop emailing me.
