If you thought that R.E. 1 was great, the second installment is even better. With a better array of weapons you can ward off the legions of the undead and even a SECRET weapon that can burst more than 1 zombies head at a time. The only thing I disliked was the constant puzzles that it presents you and you have to solve.

The graphics and game play are toataly kool my favorite carictor is Leon Kennedy he is fast and harder to kill than Clair. Well if your new tothe game acmopany named Umbrella corp is experementing with biolagical weapons create a virus that can change into blood thirsty zombies.Somehow the t-virus gets unleashed on Racoon city. Leon and Carly are new cops and Racoon cities only hope.There's your intro.

This game is the best game i have ever played i love the way monsters jump through the roof and through the windows and i love the end monster with leon stage 1 the game is grouse.

ok here is my list of fav re games
1) resident evil 1
2) resident evil 2
3) resident evil code veronica x
4) resident evil 3 nemesis
5) resident evil survivor

back to re2, it has a good story and ok graphics, i dont own it but i rented and beat it within 2 days so i feel i am entitled to write a review. what it lacks in difficulty and replay value it makes up for in story and scare value, recvx is a very long game for the ps2 but isnt scary at all and has a very long and medocre story, if u have a ps2 buy this game and a psone mem card for the same price as the new re game and u will be more happy.

While I am begging Capcom to reconsider the ground up remake for GameCube I think that it is safe to say that RE 2 Director's Cut Dual Shock whatever ediction is currently the definitive version of the game. The Aarange Mode makes this game slightly more interesteing than the original version, and while it makes it overly easy to play on Rookie mode nothing is more satifying than a rocket launcher with unlimited ammo. Especially on the B-sides when you're up agains the Tyrant who follows you arround like Nemisis does in RE 3, though not as much. The N64 version had garbled sound and grainey FMVs and was just not worth it, but did have one advantage over this version, the optional analogue control. Update the graphics, throw in analogue control and this game will be the best of the series again, but only if it keeps all the fun extras that this one has. This is the version I ended up settling for.

well the storyline is somewhat mediocre the controls are well unforgiveble another is leon is such a an idiot he does not have what it takes to be a cop claire is just well a ditz
her voice when she talks is just well annoying
but the graphics are what carries this game through they are well ahead of it's time the zombies look real and so do the umbrella
corporation mutations thank god they took out the hunters in this game i got sick of them after awhile

the weapons are pretty kool

the magnum is devestating as usual
but as for replay value i will not play this again

Ce Resident Evil est peut-être le meilleur de toute la série. 2 scénario entièrement différent qui ce complète avec 2 autres scénario ce qui au final, donne 4 aventures complète et diffèrente. L'ambiance de ce jeu rappel les meilleurs film de Zombi de George A.Romero lui même pour le coté urbain qui n'était pas présent dans le premier opus de la série et les monstres sont beaucoup plus dégueu et malsain. On tient la un monument du jeu gore horrifique!

WOW, what a great game, I highly suggrest you buy it. It will Scare the living POOP out of you. And it leaves a greta cliffhangar. And i like how you can play as leon and clair. My favorite character is Leon. If you play as him first Its a lot more scarier! BUY RESIDENT EVIL 2 GREATEST HITS....ITS THAT SIMPLE

In the RE series, I love to get involved with the graphics. It still scares me when I play it still(even though i know whats goingto happen) to get the freak out of me. I say that even RE1 is a good game. It adds on to the others as the guideline to the rest. RE3 is hard for me though. It has a lot of things you have to do to make it happen.(RE3 is scarey) I played RE SURVIVOR and found it kind of short but made you fight the zombies at the same time as Claire and Leon and makes you think if this sick world really exists . I used to think that at one time and still do. For all the RE freaks in the WORLD and thank CAPCOM for bringing that world to us, WELCOME to the FAMILY of RE fun. Later FANS OF RE games, DAVID MEUSE

This game is sweet! I personally think it's better than the third RE. I like to play both leon and claire. But there are a few flaws. I think the normal zombies are to common. I think there should be more large spiders and cockroaches.Other than that, it's a great game.
