It's just as fun as the first except you have new scenes and new mini games

More fun that the original, more unique than anything on PS2

Sega has a knack for creating extraordinary, unique games. I am a fan of all game systems. I own them all. I am still more into Dreamcast right now because of Sega's great gameplay ideas. All of the games on PS2 right now are remakes/improvements in graphics on older games for the PSX, but no real innovation. The ideas are stale. Crazy Taxi and its sequel however, bring back the idea of the high score, the fun and thrill of driving combined with a goal; to get your customer to a destination and get a big tip.

You can't tell me there is any game on PS2 that is this fun. And if there is one on PS2 that is as fun as this, tell me: is it a remake or continuation of an existing series/genre? ex. Tekken Tag is the same as Tekken 3, but it has some new moves and new graphics. New graphics are not enough to call an entire game "new".

The original reviewer that says Crazy Taxi 2 sucks has obviously never actually played Crazy Taxi or the sequel, and never even laid his hands on the awesome, yet under-appreciated Dreamcast console.

Another Reason To Own A Dreamcast

Im glad to see that Sega havent changed the formula with Crazy Taxi too much to make the sequel. Crazy Taxi 2 is just as much fun as the first one but with some new features. One of the new features is the new jump ability where you are able to jump offending vehicles and obsticles, and the best new feature of the game is the ability to have several passengers in the cab at any one time. Cab sharing is good beacuse you get muti fares as they wont all want to go to the same destination. Crazy Taxi 2 is set in New York so the scenery is just as exciting as it is in the first one. This is a must have game and has put more life back into the Dreamcast

Is everyone here crazy? The game is still in development, it hasn't been released yet. The Daily Radar piece is a PREVIEW. All the user reviews here are rehashed previews from magazines. None of you have played it!

Geez, don't have a cow. Who cares what they say? It's for ppl that don't read the previews and wanna know others' opinions on it.

Please, remain calm.

There's a lot of emotion here. Please, this is a game, and there's no need to get all huffy over it. Everyone, take a deep breath and count to ten.

There. Crazy Taxi 2 will rock!

How much Crazier can it get?

This is a great to sequel to a great game. It has even more features then the first one. In this one you can make the car jump. There are different drivers and a different city. The excitement is just as crazy as the first one and you'll have a blast jumping over cars and landing on them too. The graphics stayed the same, but the gameplay is even better. This game will provide you with many hours of crazy driving.

Great Sequel to a Great Game

My biggest dislike with the Crazy Taxi 2, is the music, and lack of options. I own both Crazy Taxi, and Crazy Taxi 2, and for both of them, i just mute my TV and put on some of my own music. The music that is on there is ok, but it is just so dang repetative. I mean, if you are playing the game for more than about 5 minutes, you have heard both, yes, i said both (as in there are only two) songs, and they aren't even the whole song, just part of each. Also, you can not decide in the options area the traffic difficulty, or the time limit in normal play, which is something that Crazy Taxi (the original) had. That is not something they should have gotten rid of. (I have not beaten the game yet, i just got it yesterday, so maybe, MAYBE you have those options once you have beaten the game or something). Well, enough with the negative, I can get past the music (or lack of it...) and the lack of options. The additions they have made for this game are great. You can have more than one person in the car (....). Also, the "crazy hop" is a wonderfull addition. Itz kinda weird that this game has it, because when I first got the original version, I was wishing that I could hop over the oncoming cars... I guess someone was listening.... Plus, once you beat the crazy pyramid (a series of mini-games) you can have access to the original 4 drivers and cabs. With the great graphics, and very little to no noticable pop-ups graphics, this game is a great buy, and a lot of fun to play. Great if you want to play some DC, but don't have time to get onto PSO (another great game!!) or Quake or something. I would reccomend getting this game if you liked the first one, and even if you didn't, with the new additions to the sequel, you might like this new version.

CRAZY!!

If you liked Crazy Taxi then you'll love Crazy Taxi 2. This game has lots of new stuff but keeps the same old Crazy Taxi fun. There are new cabbies, new city (New York), new moves, and now you can have multiple people in your cab. This is a must buy for everyone who is looking for a good time. Its CRAZY!!
