Crazy Taxi 2 is so much better than the first. You can now download new passenger location maps and settings through your Dreamcast's modem. You can even upload your high scores and replays to the Crazy Taxi 2 website. The replays are sweet because it means that nobody can cheat. Buy it! This game has incredible replay value.

One of the best Dreamcast games!

This is not a whole lot different than the original, other than the ability to jump, New York instead of San Fransico, and the different mini games. However, since Dreamcast games have gone down in price, you should go ahead and buy this instead of the original. Why?

Graphics: Some of the best on the system. No slowdown or pop up.
Sound: Goes well with the game, but in the book it says there are 7 songs, but in the game there are only 4.
Control: The brakes could stand to be a bit faster, but everything else is great.
Entertainment: One of the most fun games put there.
Replay Value: High. You'll never stop playing this.

Bottom Line: Whether you have the original or not, this is a good buy.

minor improvement and very tedious mini games

If you already own part one (like I have ) then don't expect to be blown away by part 2. The arena is a similar "city" setting, with no time differential. You're still driving during daylight. You can not drive at night. So the only difference is the fact that your car can jump.

My biggest complaint is about the mini games. In order to unlock the hidden stages, and scecret characters from part one, you are forced to play the mini games, which are VERY...VERY...VERY!!! difficult to beat.

Why didn't the progamers include easy button entry codes, like they do with other games? I like challenges but why should I spend 4 hours trying to get my car to jump from one rooftop to another.

Totally Crazy

Fun fun fun... I even let my 4 year old play it.. and he is good! Even though I'm not too thrilled with the words in the music...the game is crazy, nuts, funny, and entertaining. Wish there were more characters to choose from and different cities would be nice also. My kids have learned where everything is and can go there almost without the arrows.

Great Game, But repeditive.

Crazy Taxi 2. What a Sweet, Sweet game. The Graphics are comparable to current PS2 games, the gameplay is fun, the Soundtrack is awsome (Who could not love "The Offspring"?). My only complaint is that it gets repedative pretty fast. The game could also use a Multiplayer (At least I think.). If you have a few bucks to spend, Don't hesitate to buy "Crazy Taxi 2" I guarentee it won't ruin your weekend

Fun for a while but a game with NO depth is destined to fail

Crazy Taxi 2 is fun for a while but when you either beat the pyramid or become upset because its too hard to beat then the game will slowly make its way to the bottom of your collection.

It has great graphics and tight control but the music is a letdown and my aren't those cab drivers crude. The game is a welcome addition to any Dreamcast library even if it will eventually get old.

Honestly I thought the 1st was better but still average..

Crazy Taxi 2 is the sequal to the Sega hit Crazy Taxi. Now I usually make bigger reviews to be honest I'll just make this my

SHORT and Sweet Review..

Now The 1st Crazy Taxi was DC game but lost its exclusitivity(yeah that sounds dumb but It just came up my head) and can be found on
Xbox
Gamecube and Ps2. Though the best version is the Dreamcast you can probably spend it on the Ps2 version or the other systems since DC games seem to be a pain to find now.

The graphics are solid and the gameplay loses its touch later on...OK MAYBE JUST FOR ME MAN! I didn't think the game was that great but like I said before...

Graphics good...gameplay...ehhh gets old. This is must for any Die Hard Dreamcast owner but For people who want more then just another sequal with "some" stuff stay clear away from this...I'm not saying the game is bad! I just think the 1st it better...

I really enjoyed the game over all and though it was an A-O-K Dreamcast Game..

I give CrAzY Taxi for the Sega Dreamcast a...

3.0 out 5 stars.....

*NOTE*

Other then Crazy Taxi the Sega Dreamcast(R.I.P) has some really awesome amazing games... Some for example Sonic Adventure, Marval Vs Capcom2(and yes the DC version is the best mainly cause it was the original version and it was DC exclusive at one point)

And yeah.....well..

Lates..

MORE CRAZY FUN!

This second installment of Cray Taxi is similar to the first game but there are some differences. This game takes place in New York City instead of San Francisco and there are four new drivers to choose from.

I like this game a lot because you have a choice of picking up one person or a group of people. If you pick up a group of people it is more challenging because you have to drive all over the city to get each person in the group to their own destination in a cetain amount of time.

The music is still wild and crazy and the mini games are really fun.
