Great game, but if you played the first one....

it may get boring fast. After I completed the challenges, I didn't feel like playing anymore. Don't get me wrong, the city is huge, and they put too much traffic in the game this time around, but still worthy of a purchase.

Take Your "Crazy Taxi" Out For One More Spin!

It's no secret "Crazy Taxi" was a success on Dreamcast. It sold many copys, was well received as a great time killer, and featured a great soundtrack! However there were a few complaints as no game is perfect! One of the problems was the fact there were only two levels in this game, so you soon just memorized a set course and went on playing. Then it was the fact that the Crazy Box just wasn't all that, so not many people felt they needed to save a game! Then they wanted more playing options like 2-player and online modes!

Well your out of luck if you want all the above, because except for two new levels this is pretty much the same game as the first! However there are a few changes that makes this game good anyway! For one thing people who felts hills were too easy have nothing to worry about, hills are gone and turns are in! That's right you will spend more time turning then going up a linear hill! But for those of you who still like flying with your taxi's don't worry, press the Y button on your Dreamcast controller and your car will jump! Cool huh?

The new Crazy Box is still nothing great, but I gusse some people still needs single player challinges! Instead of 2 songs we have 4 songs by Offspring in this game so you have a "LITTLE" more music to listen to while your listening to your customer shouting at you! The graphics are excattly like the first so thats a miner problem (But not by much)!

There's no two player or online modes so this is still pretty much a single player game! I don't think this is one of the "steller" games of the year because it's so much like the first, but it's still a little fun! I was going to give this game three stars, but decided on four because they added "enough" new things to keep me intrested. But I still hope "Crazy Taxi: Next" for XBox turns out a bit better still!

Awesome Game

Once you started you cant stop playing this game,

the last 2 misions, and of course...
Buy it!

this game is the worst game of all time. it has horrible graphics horrible camera angles and bores the crap out of you quickly. everything looks so basic and dull the game is no fun at all. the cars dont move in the direction you want them to. i like trying out games a lot. but im sorry i ever checked out this garbage. for a fun time check out any grend theft auto or the most recent nascar game. this game is really bad and should definitely go down without notice. im so glad i only rented this one.

I honestly didn't they could get much better than the first Crazy Taxi, but somehow they managed it.The graphics (especially colors) are better gameplay is improved and I love the new crazy pyramid.I think on the next one they should let you get a bus or a tank or maybe even an airplane.

It's Crazy Taxi but doesn't live up to the Original release

I got this earlier this week and have been playing it. Good notes about the game are that it's easy to play, and has the same relative functionality of Crazy Taxi and Crazy Box but in a different setting. And there are added challenges and features to this game. If you like Crazy Taxi, the original, you will enjoy this sequel's game-play.

However what was lost was the "charm" of the game, in the new characters. BD Joe's slang is missed. As were the voices of the Conservative drivers. Now they all pretty much sound the same and are really kind of flubbed. Even the young kid with the urban accent and the preppy girls voices. So that is what I miss about the game. Otherwise it's quite entertaining.

Best one yet!

This was the best! It was the just as good as the first one but you can do much more. You can jump, pick up more than a one person at a time, u can pick up to 4 at a time, and also there are many more mini games that are really fun. Also u can get all different types of cars from a stroller to a baby carraige. Also if u complete the mini games u can get all the original characters from the first game.

Good game, but lacks depth.

It looks good, but besides the main objectives, there is nothing for you to beat, except your own scores. Plus, it is a lot like the first one. Another thing that bugs me, is that there is only one city, and you memorize it after a while.

Really disappointed...

I loved CT1 and was really looking forward to CT2. Unfortunatly it didn't do anything for me. I found the characters less interesting than 1, and the biggest let down is the track/city. Not nearly as fun as CT1. All the hills and jumps in 1 were great. CT2 maps also feel smaller than the maps in CT1. The added gameplay elements don't do anything to enhance the basic gameplay- i.e. jumping cars. Picking up two customers is kinda cool but I wish you could pick up ANY 2, not just the same ones together.
