Mario Kart
I love this game because of the graphics you also get to play multiplayer and I also like that you can get to pick the car & person! You can find short cuts & new cars that go fast!
This is why I give it 5 stars!!

Almost perfect.

This game is addictive, and it's a blast. The graphics are gorgous, the music is great.

It's not very deep, but that's what we have to expect from games like this, but even though it IS a racing game, the added missions give you more for your money.

My only complaint is that the WiFi mode is very limited.

Mario Kart's reply value is terrific!

Mario Kart is a must-have for all DS owners. It only taks about a week to play and after that it is just as much fun to play it over again (I have beaten it 4 times).

Pros:
On time trial mode, you can race against the staff members!
It is fun to see which kart you are best with.
You can play it over and over agian and it will never get boring.
Multiplayer is so much fun!
You can choose trakes from four previeous mario kart games. (snes, N64, GBA, and GCN)
The items make it very fun.
You can create an emblem to put on your kart!
You can download time trial ghosts from your friends!
There are four engine levels and 8 cups.

Cons:
If you are playing aginst someone who dosn't own the game, they can't choose a kart (must be shy guy) and you can only choose corses from 2 cups.

Overall, like I said, it is a must-have.

One of the best games on the DS and in the franchise

This is probably the best Mario Kart game ever created. It has so much packed into it that you'll be playing it for hours. I would buy this game even if it were for a console, but the benefit of portability seals the deal. Highly recommended for any Mario Kart fan!

One of The Best Mario Games Yet!

One game plus two DS equals lots of fun. Yes you only need one cartridge to race against each other as long as you have two DS units. I think that is a huge bonus on this game

While it takes some hand eye coordination to control your car on this, it is fairly easy to play. This game has a variety of courses to play on. It has your choice of Mario Characters for you to race as. It is just a fun little game. Easy entertainment with low frustration factor.

The downside to this game is that you will stress the joints on your thumb from pressing the button that makes your car go.

this is a very very good idea if you buy this with your ds

Mario Kart DS is the most complete racing game for the Nintendo DS. The game features tracks from past Mario Kart games spanning SNES, N64, GC and the GBA. There are also a few new tracks exclusive to the DS. Single player consists of Grand Prix, Time Trial, VS and Missions. Replayability on the Single Player mode is extensive because no two races are the same. Races always feel close because of such power ups like the blue shell that aims for the race leader and the rocket power up that randomly pops for the last place racer. The rocket power up transforms the racer into a speedy rocket that knocks over other racers in their way allowing them to go from last place to about 4th place.

The game truly shines in the Multiplayer mode. A single game card can allow up to 8 players with a DS to race or battle. Single card games are limited to just a few tracks, and players without the game are stuck being different colored Shy-Guys with no choice of kart. Battle mode only has 3 stages to play on. I haven't tried multiple card play, but I can imagine that it'll be much more fun because of all the available tracks, characters and karts.

There is online play available for this game, but I have yet to try it.

I highly recommend Mario Kart DS if you own a DS. Long-time fans and newbies will enjoy playing this game.

This is standard Mario Kart with a few extra features. The courses are not much different then you've already seen. The graphics are pretty good and the races do get challenging. The map in the second screen is very helpful and really adds to game play. The mini games are also pretty fun. If you like the original Mario Kart you'll like this game too.

Mario Kart DS is such a good game. The graphics seem to be almost the same as the gamecube Mario Kart Double Dash. It even has 16 retro stages from the previous Mario Kart Games. There are also 16 new nitro cup stages. The characters don't have special items as they did in DD, but it doesn't affect the overall gameplay. The sound is just as good. There are some new characters and many new karts. The wifi is the newest thing. if you have a wireless router, you can play through that. If not, you can order a nintendo wifi adapter(it can only be purchased directly from nintendo.) You still need a computer though. This game has great replay value since you can always try to beat your best time in time trial mode. Masters of Mario Kart or new players will definetly enjoy this game. Overall I give it a 10 out of 10.

The best game for the nintendo ds so far
