I have played CRPGs for close to 15 years now. Like most gamers out there, I have been very jaded with the selection of games lately. They just seem like cookie cutter standard [stuff]. Morrowind, however, reaffirms my faith in gaming. If you enjoy RPGs, and are looking for something totally original, get this game! You won't regret it!
A 'real' world.

This game is not just role playing, but role _living_.
If you just want some random hack'n'slash there might be better titles for you, because the world of Morrowind is so complete, that you start having concerns, obligations and delights in this computer world.
The thrill when sneaking through an old tomb with a crossbow ready is excelent, but playing Morrowind is also about the joy of the sunset seen from a rock on the coast and a relaxing beer in your favorit pub in Balmora. No other game will in the same way take your thoughts away from the 'official missions' and into single player roleplaying.
The manual with the game is small, why? Because if you want some information about the game world you should look in the bookstore _inside_ the game world. :) :) :)
Very dyanimc, expansive

Morrowind is one of the most dynamic and expansive game worlds around. While there is a centeral series of missions in Morrowind, the game branches out with a seemingly infinite array of options. The map is expansive, and the scenery is gorgeous. At every turn, you'll find new oppurtunities, dungeons, quests, shipwrecks, and other perils (but not without rewards). The game has a high replay value. You can't simply follow a straight line through the map to complete the main story quests unlike many games of this age. Its akin to Dungeons and Dragons, without having to meet up with your friends to play. The game also has the TES Construction Set, enabling anyone to create "plugins" which modify the main game world in some way. People have already added new dungeons, continents, as well as useful items such as homes and banks. Morrowind is a good investment for those who can appreciate fantasy games.
All mine!...

I have played many games but I absolutely love this game! What games let you do what you want? I myself enjoy going around stealing and killing unsuspecting victims. All in the game of course! My brother got this game and I have been playing it ever since. It has great graphics and music. I like how you can talk to anyone and that you can try to become friends or enemies with them. You can also create your own human. Each one being better at different things. A few flaws it contains are that there is times when you have to wait for the game to load up, even on my brothers Alienware Computer the game seemed to have trouble loading or at times in the middle of the game it may even shut down. For the easily angered or impatient people this would not be the game for you. But consider how much fun you will have doing what you want!
WOW!!!!

Wow! This game is awesome. Ok so I must admit it was a little confusing but no prob. You can get a faq from gamefaqs.com there is a faq for beginners, like me, and for people who maybe know what to do but want to get extra things. Enough said there. From the moment you set foot in this game it sucks you in. You will travel all around making your way in a medieval setting. This game is the best game I have ever played. I am a Diablo 2 fan as well and I would have to admit that even Diablo 2 is second to this. Go out and spend the [$] bucks or however much it costs, you won't regret the 100 hours of stunning gameplay
Awsome, Unbelivible Game

To put this game into one word, it would have to be, awsome. I know you have probably heard this already, but the graphics are better than anything. It is unreal how people who make rpgs do it. The NPCs are good (well, most of them are not evil), and you get to do anything. Get this game!
an epic game

You are dumped (or possibly released) off a prison boat into the land of wierd plants, alien wildlife, and a mixture of inhabitants not unlike the menagerie from Star Wars...
All you know is that someone in a "nearby" town, directions to which you have been told but unfortunately forgotten, is looking for you and it might be a good idea to find out what this individual wants...
This game maybe hard to get drawn into, at least it was for me. The reason for that: there is no clear path shown for you, NPCs don't have convenient signs on them saying click me to continue!", in fact most of them seem downright scary and hateful.
Then you start asking them questions and start to learn... options for what to do next emerge. You have better understanding of the inhabitants, the interconnections, struggles, you learn about different factions and organizations within this land, about their goals and ideologies.
Some of these goals are personal and selfish, others very political in nature or zelous in their religiosity, and some of them are so epic in scope they're stretching millenia back into the past... between all those agendas you are slowly finding your own. That is when the game truly begins...
4/5 because of some technical issues, which i won't go into
Lore and amount of backstory put into this game is extraordinary. There are books in the game that have an entire mythologies in them. The story itself is complex, no entirely good or bad guys here, although ultimately the player has to take sides and make choices.
Architecture changes greatly depending on the area and culture. From a cross between arabian-like dwellings and texan villas to the round houses in the tops of gigantic trees and houses made out of shells of... some big long extinct creatures. And of course a traditional medieval castles, however built and inhabited by a culture akin to that of ancient Rome...

Honestly can't tell you much, it's an expansion! Been there once outta curiousity just to see if it worked. It did. But wasn't going to tip the scale until it fell right in the RPG. Has started to mention it so may head to that part of the game soon.
Best game ever

Finally, a game that doesn't end after about three weeks. If you're looking for a game that could ultimately last you six or more months, then I recommend this one. The possibilities of this game are near endless and has re-play value.
The seller described the item very well and shipping was incredibly fast. Will buy from again.
Thanks!
