A bad remake of Driver 2...less the criminal element...

ok...i have been a gamer for some years...seen lots o' titles. played this game for only an hour before becoming extremely annoyed. the graphics are weak, and there is nary a plot to push this game along. yeah, ok...some good crashes and explosions...but if i wanted that, i'd stick with Grand Theft Auto. do not buy this title. please trust me. it's insulting to those who want an in-depth gaming experience on any level.

This game is outrgeously fun and exciting, it is challenging yet simple. It is a great game for all ages and gendres. I really like that you can make your own stunts and test them to perfection. In a nutshell, this game is the best game i have played for PS2 and reccomend it to anyone and everyone.

Not for the people who do not like challenges

this game is a very good idea. It has its faults, it is hard to beat but is that wrong. When someting is hard, I found more replay value in it. The controls are a little off but not bad. Just run through the missions while just passing the checkpoints to get a idea of what to do. When you are done you will accomplished something that was hard. The stunt stadium is a very fun part when you make you own stunts. When you get mad, just calm down and try it again. But think about it, it you did not want to finish the level and not care, then why are you restarting the game if it pisses you off?

Wow, wat an amazing game. pure fun. sometimes it is verry difficould, but when you have completed a stunt you're so happy that you will almost take the champain out of the refrigator, but you won't do that couse you only want to play further and complete the game.just a super game!!!

This Game is a really good game. It's good for adventurous teenagers. I Love this game.

If so then this is the game for you. A typical scene in any of the movies you might be working on involves driving where the director tells you a split second before you get there and then jumping or crashing through things, doing 180 turns, barrel rolls, etc. When you screw up, which you will, you get to do it over from the beginning. . . after it loads. Aaaaaaargh!!! You may have to repeat this process 10, 20, even 30 times before you get it just right! On the plus side the graphics are good and the controls feel right on. There's also a stunt arena for designing and executing your own stunts which is pretty cool.

Fun at first, then just plain annoying

It started out awesome, and loads of fun, a great concept of doing stunts. Unfortunately once you get to the second movie, its near impossible, and will habve you throwing the control at the screen and shouting. If you are a video game fn, check out PLaystations Magazine's in depth review about it , and you can read more and see where inm coming from. Its a fun game, but onlly if you have LOTS of patience and are willign to stare at load screens for long amounts of tinme.

Buy this game if you're smart at driving. If you don't,
Rent it first or play the demo before you buy it.

In this game, you and the Director are partner.
The Director will speak and tell you what to do over
the radio and Your job is to do what The director told
you to do,like: Hit boxes, E brake, Jump, Reverse,
Chase. And there is other thing you have to do by
pressing L1 botton, Like: Cannon Roll, Nitro Jump,
Getting of The Snowmobiles, and much more.
If you still don't get it, don't return it, cause
you actually could buy and use The Stuntman Strategy Guide.
Is a book that can help you play well on this stuntman Game.

OH! If you bored or stuck on some of the mission, why don't
you try your stunt on the stunt arena. You must complette
the mission to get new car & new arena toy.
The more mission you win, the more car & arena toy you'll get.

So don't sit there! Buy this Game! And you'll know why this
game realy need your skills. :)

When I heard this game was coming out I just couldn't wait. I played it all night. It is true that it is hard at times, but it is not impossible. I got up to the 5th movie by the 2nd day I had it. That's when it got hard and took me a week to get to the next movie. Right now I am on the next to last stunt of the last movie. And I still love this game!!!

Give it some time!!

At first i thought this game [wasn't good]...i couldnt beat the 1st level. However, when I decided to stick to it, i got it after a few tries. Even though the missions are very hard from the beginning, trying them a couple of times should let you complete each stunt. The replays are awesome, and its great to see yourself doing those things!. One graphical problem i had is that the game doesnt seem to support progressive scan for HDTVs, it had many jaggies and sharp edges unlike most other ps2 games.(maybe the other games dont either, im not sure, but they may just have better engins) finally, a loading screne after each take is annoying, but doesnt [ruin] the game in any sense. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a funa challenging game, or anyone who enjoyed driver and other similar titles.
