Great Game

I really liked this game. It is a little hard, but if your any good at driving games, you shouldn't have a problem with it. It is a fun and exciting game. This game is a must have!!

I still have some mixed emotions about this game, being that I haven't finished it yet. I'll let you know what I think of it so far though.
Most of you are aware of the premise of this game by now so I won't get into it here. For those of you who don't know what it's about, here ya' go: Do what the director tells you!!!!
As many cool features as this game has to offer, there are some downfalls which made the gameplay rather frustrating. First of all, I would like to take a practice runthrough of the stunt before jumping right in without knowing what I'm up against. At least show a map of the stunt before hand! In certain stunt sequences I was required to smash through a fence, but I was only able to at a specific point. If I were too far over on either side of the specified area, the car would simply ram that part of the fence and not budge. I mean, that's a WOODEN fence, right? Is part of the fence made from indestructable wooden-looking material??? That was one of the more daunting details.
What upset me the most was getting to the end of a difficult sequence after completing all the challenges in the time allowed, and having to start the sequence all over because I didn't complete a certain task. But you I don't know what I missed because the game didn't let me know about it.
On the plus side of STUNTMAN, I found the graphics to be very pleasing to the eye. The car physics and control are decent, although I did find myself fighting to keep from fish-tailing on more than a few occasions. I was also impressed with the number of viewing angles while playing. I especially like the customizable stunt arena, which you have immediate access to, but isn't much fun without all the Evil Kinevil ramps which you have to unlock in career mode
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with what STUNTMAN has to offer, a great premise, daunting yet possible challenges, DVD extras, and a really fun stunt-mode. My one gripe would have to be that this game needs an easier learning curve, so frustration won't set in too quick. Rent this one first, or better yet, borrow it from your buddy for a weekend.

this game is wicked!
It has superb graphics, and is very easy to play.
There are plenty of levels to play and the price is good value for money!!!

If I could give this "game" zero stars I would...hopefully by now you will see where I am going with this. Talk about annoying, I wanted to throw this game in the trash can.

This game should have been great. The graphics are there, the playability is there, the concept is there, and the originality is there. ... What I wouldn't give to have a day with the source code. A few little tweaks, and you've got a four star game. Too bad.

This game is tough, but more importantly, it's annoying. I realized that they were some serious issues with this game when I had to do the first stunt ten times. First off, there is no walkthrough of the stunt. You have to emulate a series of stunts, and they won't tell you what's next in the series until just when you're about to execute it. This meant that you'd probably not have the right speed or angle going into the next part stunt. That's not too bad. What's worse is that the timing and accuracy have to be perfect for many stunts. If you mess up a little bit, you run out of time and have got to start the mission again.

There are six movies to complete, each with about three to six series of stunts to accomplish. About half way through the second movie, when I went through a stunt 30 times, I realized that this was a waste of my time and energy. There were more worthwhile things to do with my life - like watching grass grow, voting for third party candidates, evolving, watching Behind the Music of M.C. Hammer for the 42nd time - anything but this game was more worthwhile.

In short - avoid this game. I only rented it, hoping to capture the essence of Grand Theft Auto 3, and I still felt ripped off.

The worst 50 bucks I ever spent...Sooo Disappointed!

The game is a great idea but it has been created totally wrong. Its a TRIAL and HEAVY ERROR game. You start ever scene pretty much not knowing what you need to do?! It would be nice if it told you how fast you needed to be or a certain mark where it would be good to hit a jump or something! If you enjoy stupid time limits, and having to start over from the beginning EVERY SIMGLE time you make a mistake, (AND TRUST ME YOU'LL DO THAT ALOT...I'M NOT KIDDING) and then waiting 10 to 20 seconds for the game to restart then you'll probably like the game. I'm just warning you rent this one before you buy it...

Basicaly you do the same stunts again and again until you reach perfection. You will see the loading screen almost as much as you stare at the TV. It is a good idea gone terribly wrong, and I pity it.

I think this game is awesome because you do stunts that are in movies and after you do them you see them on the movie and if you don't get stuntman you got a bad game

Challenging Game!!

When I started playing this game I nearly through my gamepad through my TV set, but when you start to get the hang of the controls, and finish the first scene the game gets alot better! All of these people reviewing the game are complaining that the game is too hard and frustrating, which I agree with, but that is what makes this game so good! I'd rather play a challenging game in which you have to do every scene almost perfect, instead of some easy game where you can save at any time.
If you are looking for an easy game do not get this one, but if you are looking for a challenge Stuntman is the game to get.

OK, by now you should be well aware that this game is extremely DIFFICULT!! You are given NO info on the stunts you will need to perform and inevitably you will sit there watching the "Loading screen" for hours at each sitting.
However, persistence does pay off. Especially if you have a friend or two helping you. I find that after watching each stunt about a dozen times, a friend can jump in right when you are ready to hurl the controller thru the television. And by the time you watch him screw-up for a few minutes, you are again ready to play some more.
Please do not submit yourself to the agony of playing this game alone. You will hate it, you will hate yourself, and you will hate anything associated with this game.
But, as a competition amongst friends, it can really be a fun game. So, please think before you play this game. OK? Don't say that I didn't warn you.
This game can be fun, but it can also drive you up a wall!
