I just completed Ratchet: Deadlocked and i have to say i LOVE it! My only problems are that it is too short, and it doesn't really have a story. I liked Ratchet in the suit better than his other costumes even though i missed his cute tail! Some people complain its too easy, well then go onto the hardest setting and you have a challenge there. There are some hard missions, but some are quite simple. I like how they are all 'cut' up into sections so you don't have to go at it all at once. I have to say i missed Clank but having him on the radio or whatever was great and the commentators (??) are HILARIOUS! i was always laughing when Douglas kept exaggerating the name Juaneta or something like that. Anyway, its strange as i would definitely recommend it for a younger audience, except there are some adult jokes in there and it can be quite dark at times. Overall great game but you should stick to Ratchet and Clank 3 or the other ones if you are not into Arena Challenges and more into complex stories.

the ratchet and clank games may be for teens but im 11 so... who cares i have all 3 and beat all of them im a (genuis)but ever since this one came out, eyes came to mind!! i had to get this game but i dont have it yet ever since i heard about this game and the other 2 jak x and sly 3 i studied all of them and made sure that when i get them they will be great as i saw them on tv (nice)and good for my awesome gaming skills but even if i dont have the game i can still picture it in my head with me playing it, i give it a 4 out of 5.

i have all four ratchet and clank games and i have beaten three of them including this one there all fun but i couldnt beat the first one.

oaky the first few are oaky but not perfect i can say tho that wiping the smug face of the reactor was fun but in the end the comentary with the announcers isnt child apropriate at all for exanple

This game i have to say is a little bit too short. Even though i like it alot but it gets soooooooooooooo easy once youbeat it because you get to keep your weapons like the harbiger it is the most powerful weapon in the game. I beat the game 3 times flat. It is very easy until you fight vox. But other than that its a pretty good game.

Chris Gidney, 14 old ages, 9 grade, GMS Granbury Middle School, Male Teen, (deaf).I have already the Network Apaotor. I need to know how it works with lan, i have 5 ps2, i want play Ratchet: Deadlocked with 2 ps2 and 2 Ratchet: Deadlocked with in LAN, i want 8 players works with LAN in my ps2, i don't want account, i hate it, beacuse it not work with me, but i not have cable at my place, Old Granbury street kartly not have cable-lines, i know ps2 only not work, but i have 2 ps2 in my house, i wanted to know how it work with 2 to together in the Ratchet: Deadlocked LAN of 8 players, i have big ps2, Network Apaotor, keyboard USB, and my brother have an new little ps2, has a Network Apaotor inside it, so i wanted plays works with on LAN ps2 with multiplayer with the LAN not cable online, i not have cablelines at my place of street. So, i wanted to know how it works with LAN ps2 with the Ratchetandclank: Deadlocked ps2 of 2 each things with that and with works on LAN multiplayer like an LANparty but yes i wanted, but i wanted to know how it works with ps2 LAN multiplayer with the RatchetandClank: Deadlocked with in my house, i don't want online, I WANT AN LAN works with ps2. it dosent have along enough adventure... but im not sayin it sucks. I like bast things alot. In fact those kind of games are the only kind I buy ever ever (besides combat raceing).But next time make it harder and longer(and a little less guns).And I am very very fond of the co-op mode but have clank use the wepens you already bought and use the commands and have a weapens called the electro blade i mean make 12 year old in nead of freind, who needs to know that his voice counts. : [ (please)...

This game is definately the one with the best weapons. The other games have too many weapons and you can't use them all. but this one is limited so you have a chance to yuse every weapon. One player is fun because you have battle-bots (computer players who help you) but Co-op is fun because you can play with another human. So this game is fun for 1 or 2 players, so basicly anyone can play. This and Ratchet and clank 1 are the 2 best out there right now.

If you get this game and you don't have high speed internet, on normal it took me about 3 hours to beat it, on hardest to unlock everysingle extra it took me around a week or two, you are going to be very bored. you are going to think it was a waste of money, i admit that. There is no point in getting Deadlocked without DSL or Broadband. If you don't have a network adapter, go out to the store right now and get one, you don't know what your missing. The story mode on exterminator i have to admit was pretty hard, it wasn't a cinch and i also admit that the average player would probably beat it in about a month or so on exterminator. The story line is more "funny" but less indepth. The graphics kick compared to UYA.

Now on to the really good part about this game, multiplayer. Multiplayer is worth 5 stars, heck its worth 6. I don't understand why other rewiewers didn't say a word about that thats the whole point in getting this game. Here i would also like to point out that people who say that this is a shooter should go have a brain check. In shooters the point is aiming well and killing people fast. In Deadlocked the point is dodging enemy fire, which makes it a platformer. The auto aim on most weapons does most of the work for you. The games online ranking system kicks @$$! I mean in Halo if you just lose everysingle one of your games 587 days in a row you can be ranked in the top ten or something like that. In deadlocked at a certain level it takes of points for your standing. A lot of points. You can not remain a 3, if you lose games to a skill level of 2. YOu will become a 2 after about 3 or 4 games. The only problem is on teh 1 to 10 scale, nobody is even an 8, there are like 5 7s and 200 6s. That sort of is wierd, but the scale is very good so that small problem doesn't matter that much. Oh yes in UYA the graphics and multiplayer made me feel like throwing up. The graphics in multiplayer are now BETTER then the regular game mode graphics which is very nice. The game also has nice clans, nice people (to a certain point) and great weapons.

Some more on multiplayer. THe multiplayer in this game is very good, as i have previously said because of all of the different styles of playing. Halo has a bunch of monkeys running around with dual smg's shooting teh chiznit out of each other. In deadlocked there are snipers, gunners, rocket launchers (if iyour not familiar with this kinda game the rockets don't kill w/ one hit they can be dodged, but they do heat seak, but don't think about em like other rocket launchers in like Doom 3 r sometthing like that. I really like the mods, and its even cooler that your weapons can get upgraded. Oh yeah the variety, melee players can reign, shotgunners can kick, and grenaders will love the B11 Anihlator, the weapon of thier dreams. Miners are NOOOOOBS! but they do exist, but they suck so don't worry about em unless you are a NOOOOOOB! OH yeah you can play this gaem in any view mode FPS, third person with reticle (lock strafe) and third person (sucks, unless you can melee) with no reticle. This also adds variety. None of the weapons are cheap, if you think the rocket launcher is good ur a noob cuz the pros can dodge that any day but hit em with the obliterator(grenade launcher) and thier screwwed. I would like to point out that for FPS players you need to take away your mindset or rockets, machine guns, and grenade laucnhers cuz thier different in thsi game and you need to get used to that to have fun. Snipers, unlike ethe previous one can almost always kill in one hit, if the snipers smart atn put acid on his gun, and when its upgraded it is one hit. so for fps players if u can't adjust snipe em, and if ur good u can hip snipe (snipe with out reticle)

Scorpion Flail (ball and chain) kick @$$ pro weapon if you think it sux go play a 5 r a 6
Fusion Rifle (sniper rifle) good for fps players, and can be used by medium to pro
there are also two dumb multiplayer weapons
Mods
Napalm: Lava blasts on hit, makes it hard to dodge because you might fall into lava. Pretty good on AOE weapons
Frost: Freezes enemy, slows down movement, and stops chargebooting. Not that great
Acid: Puts damage over time on a player, causing them to lose half thier health
Morph (funny mod) turns players into pigs or chickens. Sux on dm but gould on conquest and ctf(capture the flag)

Cons:
Yes multiplayer has cons.
One of the cons is that you can't assign different views on weapons. I am an FPS player so i can't use the flail, cuz it really sux in that view. I wish i could change view easier like in UYA. Acid is WAAAAAAAAYYY to cheap. not just does it make a lot of weapons one hit kos but if your in fps mode your view is like solid red. WTF Insomanica????? its really hard 2 see. WHen you try to snipe it like zooms in on the acid WTF!!!!! its like solid red, litterally you can't see at alll. The weapon balances are good, but at noob levels rockets and mines kill players waaaaaay to fast. Some players put numerous "bugs" under cons. Well those "bugs" are just sniper locations, its not the bug to "go off the map" and start sniping?

Overall a great multiplayer game, but don't get it if you don't have high speed, If you don't have a network adapter! GO GET ONE RIGHT NOW! YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT UR MISSING!

Okay i've come back far more experienced to tell you about some of the faults about this game. It still a great game, but i have to tell you that its not spectacular. When people get a lot better the Sniper Rifle becomes way too powerful, and people hipsnipe way too much. This is probably because unlike other games you don't have to jam ammo into your sniper rifle it has unlimited with no re loads so you can just keep on shooting. This wouldn't be so bad if the sniper rifle shots were like the other weapons, and you could dodge them. This makes it so that when your a lvl 5 its like the game has one weapon only and everyone is just hip sniping (sniping w/o the scope) the shiznit out of everyone and its not that fun. But if you take out the sniper rifle then the game still rox. HOwever some people are really um @*&@*#&*@#&y so thats kind of bad.

New to the R&C series is the fact thet you can play multiplayer in story mode (a HUGE bonus for me), and different levels of difficulty. I beat the game in aboout 15 hours on easy, but it becomes much more harder with 3 other difficulty modes.The game is very funny with people slandering Ratchet as a mafia crime boss and all, and other hilarious thengs (i won't spoil it). the
weapons are very well designed, with the big momma weapon (i.e the
RYNOs) being very beautiful, and really cool. If you love blowing stuuf up in as many ways as possible, this game is for you.
