I've been a fan of Ratchet and Clank ever since I played RC1 that I got for my birthday about 3 years ago. I don't think this one is the best in the series. I've beaten it so many times I don't bother keeping track anymore. About half the game is spent doing arena matches which get repetitive after awhile. And Clank is barely in it! But there are good things in this game. The guns are a big reason why I love this series so much, and it's also a reson I gave this 5/5 for fun. Also, the story is pretty good. Ratchet and Clank getting kidnapped and forced to play for Dreadzone is a good story for me. The boss battles are good too. Instead of having Clank with you, you have battle bots Murph and Green. But I perfer Clank alot better, even though Murph and Green are cool.

CONS:
Clank is barely in it
half the game are arena fights
gets boring after two times through

But all in all, I thought this game was good, just not the best.

This game is freaking awesome. I just got it today and wow, I was impressed. The levels are absolutely huge and it there are different types of difficulty for the game so thats good for people who want a challenge. The vehicles are spectular as well as the game and you will have a blast blowing up anything in sight. The weapons are much better than the previous versions of the game too and they have different mods. It also has online like UYA. Well, see you online!

Ive played all the ratchet games, and this one has the most problems. The story is much more boring, there is no real exploration or strategy anymore. its all just explosions and stuff.Also there is no clank, but hes not in the title so i guess it makes sense..You'll get board of story mode after 2 weeks, mostly because its so short, the enemies are lame, and the weapons suck when they up-grade.i mean, come on, the shots turn rainbow colors when they reach level 99, and , this is just my opinion, but the way the weapons fire when they reach level 10 kind of make them lose the little realism they have.the shotgun becomes more like a heat seeking weapon.(thats just stupid) the only redeeming quality is the online mode. It involves more strategy and the gameplay is much better. the only problem is that if u lag out of a game, u lose 20 points off your rank. it might not seem like alot, but if your in the 100s it will really piss u off. otherwise its a pretty good online experience. If you liked the first 3, get this, but if you dont have online, there are plenty of other games that might keep u interested longer.

this game is the best. it has sweet weapons. it also has co-op. it is worth the money. i had this game for 2 days and im hooked. the new vehicles are awsome. buy this hame and have fun

i only played this game for an hour and a half but i got all the way to the third world. however i am a fanatic about this sort of game so in a way i am suprised that i didnt get further. the wepons are very good, i was very impressed by the dual vipers. most of the time i dont like gladiator sort of games but this one was made so superbly well u have to be insane not to like it. the two bots that u get, "Sarge" and "Green" if i remember corectly, are absolutly hilarios. sarge is the traditional sargent, hard core and straight to the point. green is just like a new recrute, he still has nightmares about what happened to there last owner. i will stop telling u the plotline now so that u an go out and get it for ur self and figure it out. its a great game, have fun dying.

Ratchet Deadlocked is an awesome game! It's also very funny and has exciting gameplay with great graphics. However it is short. Insomniac Games will make the next game for PS3. But it won't be Ratchet and Clank. It's going to be a sci-fi FPS game which means Ratchet Deadlocked is the last game of the series.

I absolutely love this game. It's the best game I ever played. It has tons of challenges but it's a little repetitive because they do the same ones all the time, expecially the capture the nodes. It has an absolutely cool weapons system. You can use mods to enhance a weapons capabilities, and when they get to level 10 they get better.Once you beat the game once you do it again on the harder level and the weapons you had on level 10 you can buy them in mega form. so don't just sit there, BUY IT!

I have been a big fan of ratchet and clank from RC 1 To deadlocked. I must say that this is the best platformer ever. you can pilot four vehicles and customize your weapons with modifications. the mods are alpha and omega mods. Alpha mods give you options like increasing your ammo capacity, killing enemies to heal you, jackpot mod increases the amount of bolts you get from wacked enemies. there are more alpha mods but you will find out yourself. Omega mods are my favorite. They are napalm, shock,morph, acid, time bomb, mini bomb,frost,brainwash and more. you purchase these mods from vendors and can configure them to your likings. You can even purchase wrenches and you can have the fire wrench all the time. Sadly there are only 10 weapons but since you can customize them it is like having thousands of combinations or weapons and you can upgrade your weapons 10 times and mega wepaons upgrade up to level 99 and finally changes the way the weapons fire and the color. you can finally use flails and you have 2 combat bots which can be customized with botheads,armor color,and weapons and gadgets. the multiplayer is fun ofline and online. there are new gamemodes and can play all maps from single player. there is co-op mode where you can play the campaign with a frien instead of bots and customize your weapons differently to. There are alot of unlockables and skins to purchase plus minigames too. I can't type forever so stop reading and go get the game!!!!!!!!

My first thing to say about this game is it has lots of guns. Well, not necesarily guns, but the many ways to upgrade them. This game is very similar to rathet and clank up your arsenal but it is still good. This is probably the easiest game yet. The co-op is probably the best new feature. although that does have a problem. One is that you and your "pal" can't get to far apart. the other problem is you don't get the cool robot dudes. The robots that you get in one player are cool looking but STINK. I mean, they never kill anyone. I buy them all of the best weapons but they never use them. The game is hilarious though.

Not quite the CALIBER I was expecting....

Now keep in mind, this game has 4 stars. It IS a good game, but to agree with other reviews, the idea behind Ratchet & Clank IS to have Clank be an active part of the duo, as last I checked, they are a duo. Unfortunately, there's hardly any 'camera' time that you see Clank in. He's more for narrative purposes. I can only hope that the next game, if there is one, ISN'T a pointless racing game as other venues have done because they ran out of ideas. This game, for all intents & purposes IS, however quite meritable. But it went from an exploration/shot 'em up to just a shoot 'em with little to no discovery for the player to experience. The action is there but just a little lacking on adventure is all. Here's the deal - if you own the other 3 Ratchet & Clank games, this one IS worth buying and playing. It will just take some getting used to. The game set-up is a bit different as well, but once you get used to it you're hooked. It's just missing that 5th star due to the fact that while playing it, the game format leaves nothing to the imagination of the viewer as far as exploring whatever world you happen to be on for that particular part of the game. But that's just my 2 cents worth.....
