If you have played the other Ratchet & Clank games.
You will like this one too.
It's different though it's not a adventure game like the others.
It is mostly combat based.
If you like blowing stuff up in the other games this has a lot of that as well.
A new feature is the change in weapons.
A weopon can be used with different mods.
Example A weopon that fires exploding bombs can have a
napom mod to explode napom on enemies
shock mod to shock ememies
acid mod to cover enemies in acid
freeze mod to freeze enemies
bestgame ever

This game is the best I have ever played. It's perfect.Except in co-op when me and my friend played with the same weapon if I used it and he didn't use it his ammo would go down also. But since the game is really good I'll let it slide.I just beat Ace Hardlight, he is mr. tough guy but he cheated and used potions. So anyone who is going to get him I just gave you a hint
one of the best games for rachet

The game was not as good as the older versions. I spected a lot more from this game since it was announced so much. I have bought all the rachet and clank games, and this is the worst. I bought it, passed it, and sold it right away to buy smackdown vs raw 2006; which is a way better game.
BEST RACHET GAME YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is just awesome, I mean, the weapons are just awesome and the Co-op option is only availible in this game of the ratchet and clank series, too bad its short, but I found I way to make it longer, Everytime your complete the game, go to the next level, for example: The first time you start the game, you keep playing couch potato, then move on to Contestant, then Gladiator, then Hero, then finally do challenge mode and do the same thing but this time you end at the level Exterminator! I also found a way for you to forget that clank is only at the DreadZone station, You can do Co-op and P2 (player 2) can select the skin "Alpha Clank" and it's like clank is actually playing with you and he's not just a backpack!

Jak and Daxter.
Ratchet and Clank. Each platforming hero got by with a little help from his friends... until now. Jak has decided to go solo with, of all genres, a racing game. And Ratchet decided to follow suit by trading in his metallic minion for some bigger 'bots.
Having just saved the universe in
Up Your Arsenal, our heroic lombax has definitely earned some R&R. But nobody told that to Gleeman Vox, who apparently read
The Running Man and decided to kidnap heroes to compete in deathmatch-style combat. With the titular deadlock collar around his furry neck and poised to explode at any moment, Ratchet has no choice but to fight his way to freedom.
Other than a little help from Clank and Al in the cut scenes, the latest
Ratchet game seems to separate itself from the rest of the series. Don't despair, though--the quirky humor remains well intact this time around. Vox, a trashy TV network, covers
DreadZone (the show you've made an involuntary guest appearance on), and the attempts by the two announcers to malign the good name of our hero always keeps battles lively. I can still remember a huge grin spreading across my face when they accused Ratchet of hating "puppies, chocolate, and endangered species."
Without Clank to assist with acrobatics,
Deadlocked has become more-or-less a straightforward action game. Some of the more outlandish weapons have been removed in lieu of the new modification system--each firearm can be tweaked to freeze enemies, brainwash them, or... morph them into explosive barnyard animals. There is an assortment of vehicles, but if you ask me they can't hold a candle to the fantastic weapon system.
Even after finishing, I still marvel at just how fun this game was. (Not a common occurrence for someone who plays as many games as I do.) Sure, you'll finish in about 8 hours on normal difficulty, and the plot isn't much more than an excuse to make some (genuinely humorous) gags. But what there is looks, sounds, and plays like a dream. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend
Ratchet: Deadlocked to anyone.
NOTE: I wasn't able to experiment with (what I understand to be) the rather extensive multiplayer mode--that could add a lot of replay value.
Fun fun fun!

Fun is what this game is all about. Just minutes into this game you'll be shooting your way through waves of... whatever... with the galaxy's most unbelievable weapons. The storyline is simple, but flows nicely with this game. There are tons of cool weapons, and they all have some serious firepower. When upgraded... they will literally become weapons of mass destructions! It's mostly shooting, but believe me it doesn't get boring, you'll be introduce to many new stuff as you progress. Difficulty varies, I assure you that anyone can beat this game, but if you need a challenge just turn up the difficulty. The graphic will dazzle you when you see your enemies splattering all over the screen, and your weapons flashing and exploding everywhere. Other than gunning, there are also cool jumping puzzles, railing, vehicles, racing, aerial battles, and even taking control of giant robots! All are extremely enjoyable. If you want even more mayhem, there's also cooperative play so you and your buddy can go crazy. Absolutely no complaints, this game deserves to be in your collection.

I do admit I was a little dissapointed when my friend told me this game was all arena battles. But when I bought the game I realized he was telling the truth. I also realized that it was an awsome game. Ratchet deadlocked is different than all the other ones because clank isnt on your back and there are only 10 weapons but it iss still an awsome game! It isnt a game where its just like anihation nation and the maktar and Joba arena (from the second and third game). It has a plot and stuff.
Graphics- 9 out of 10. Graphics dont really change from the last games
Gameplay- 10 out of 10. The game keeps you hooked
SFX- 10 out of 10
MUsic 10 out of 10
