I picked this game up a few days ago and it rules!Frist of all its overall better than the first,you can customize a character,ride in vehicles,and there are cool weapons.This game is a must have for any person that liked or loved the first,is a lego star-wars fan,or are a regular star wars fan.

My 4-year old son loves this game!!

I bought the PS2 Lego Star Wars1 for my 4-year old son earlier this year. This became his favorite PS2 game and turned him into a Star Wars nut (which brought back some nostalgia for me). So, heading into Christmas my son's only request for Santa was "Lego Star Wars 2".

Well, my son was a good boy (sort of) so Santa brought him Lego SW2. My son actually enjoys this game more than Part1 due to the extra touches such as more vehicles to ride in, etc.

I think the best feature of both these games is the "drop-in, drop-out" player2 feature. I can pop in and help my son through a difficult part then exit back out.

The game does deal with "cartoon violence" and I try to reinforce to my son that they are just lego characters going through an imaginary adventure.

Overall, this is an awesome series and I hope the Company keeps making other creative Lego video games...how about Lego Raider's Of the Lost Ark!!

Admittedly, I bought this game for my five year old son after he enjoyed the first one so much. While I have helped him play, I haven't done the game completely myself. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the thrill he gets from playing and can't help feel a bit thrilled myself seeing the original trilogy in such a fun game form. Most of my joy in life comes from the joy my kids get and my son? Loves this game! At five he probably has a bit of a harder time than older children might, but he has managed to finish two of the three areas with very little help. I definitely recommend this game to any Star Wars fan. It's fun, has humor and a large variety of battles - both space, gun and lightsaber. The characters, while Lego incarnate, are still exceptional and great fun. The little surprises hidden here and there (which you can cheat and find with any online walk-through of the game) are a really great touch. Overall, it's a great game and one I'd have no trouble suggesting to any of my friends - or my son's ;)

The family loves it. Daddy 37 and son 12 really enjoy it. It has humor and well thought out mind challenges. They hit a few small glitches, but nothing major. It took them a lot longer to finish the game then normal. (That's a good thing!) Great game for Star Wars and /or Lego fans.

Lego Star Wars II has better game play than the original Lego Star Wars. The environment is more interactive and it has much better action possibilities.

I bought it mainly for my 7 yr old son. He loves it. My husband plays it too. They both completed the first game and couldn't wait for this one to come out. Very cute story lines and cute graphics. A must have.

Overall a very good game, with a rating that makes me comfortable playing it with my son, but with enough humor, story and action that it is fun for an adult.

This is a great game. Easy enough for a 9 year old, interesting enough to hold the attention of his Dad. No overly graphic violence and lots of levels for the adventure.

Both my sons love this game. For the most part it's a clean game in comparison to other video games out there.
