I never played the original for whatever reason, but picked this one up the other day. My husband and I can't stop playing! The gameplay is great, the puzzles are challenging and we're having a blast!

This game is a great game for all ages, with enough unlockables to keep you coming back for more. My wife loves it and my 3 year old daughter thinks it's great towatch as well. if you like Star Wars you'll love the tongue and cheek humor.

If you like Star Wars, get this game, even if you don't go for LEGOs. It's that much fun. It's easy to play for any age and if you have kids, like I do, it's a great game to play along with them.

I was myself surprised at how in depth these lego games are, basically folllowing the entire story lines for all three original movies all in one video game. That seemed like quite a value. My son loves these games and as a parent it is nice knowing that these games are E rated. Seeig some of the lego version scenes in this game are quite amusing when compared to the actual movies.

My son got this for Christmas '06 along with his PS2. Our family is sort of new to gaming but this one by far is a family favorite. The best thing about this game is that two players can play at the same time. It's a lot of fun to play together to complete the levels. One player can play by themselves as well. My son got Lego Star Wars I for his birthday in April. He loves it and it has also become a family favorite. If you have a favorite movie series then you might consider Lego Star Wars II based characters & levels on Episodes IV, V & VI; Lego Star Wars I based characters & levels on Episodes I, II & III.

Finally!

I am glad that the original trilogy came next (after the first game). This way more creativity came out and more features in the game.

The game is providing the classical scenes of the better trilogy in lego form.
Less Jedi but that is because the original trilogy had 3 ONLY.

What makes the game appealing is that it is for all ages.
Friends or/and family will enjoy it.

This game is super fun and I'd give it 5 stars fro everything, except the game is pretty buggy. Not just the occasional character becoming invisible or struck behind something (switch to other character, drop out and then drop back in), but sometimes some have to restart the game kind of bugs. There have been three occasions where I would get struck in a stage and would have no choice but to restart the machine (gamecube) and redo the stage. Really takes a lot of the fun out of the game.

If you've played the first game, then this game needs no introduction. For those that haven't, I'd tell you, old or young, you're gonna love this game. The gameplay is easy, and it stays fun. Everything in the game is Legos! From the background, to the main characters, even the little droids scurrying about-it's so entertaining!

It's fun and not violent, because if you kill someone you don't kill the person, you just break it and it just falls in pieces.
