Dont even THINK of letting a child get this game. Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers are buying this game, wich allows them to hurt innocent people (by shooting them, assaulting them, running them over with cars, etc, pick up prostitutes (then killing them to get back the money), and even engage in sex. This game shouldn't be on the market. Its a sickening image of todays society. Its sad that people find this a source of entertainment.

I have played most of the GTA games and GTA:3 was great. Now they are going to come out with Vice city and that game looks like it us goin to be even better than part 3. The fact is that now oyu get to control a helicoptor which is cool, and you get to drive motorcycles. I cant wait to get this game. I have already preordered it because this game is going to rock. This game is definitly going to top my favorites.

The idea of killing pedestrians and stealing cars really appealed to me, as it would to anyone with a brain! Or should I say, any 'man' with a brain?! After a while, though, the game becomes lifeless and wooden! Still, for the first 40 minutes it's a great laugh! Go around knocking people over, shoot whoever you want, pick up whoever you want! After 40 minutes the novelty wares off, and you realise that GTA is just **** glossed over. The citizens constantly shout out the same abuse: "JACKASS", they say, "MORON" they say. They look unrealistic, stupid, and badly animated! They move unrealisticly. They react unrealistically. I mean, you can shoot directly at small groups of people and they won't run away, even if one of them get's killed, they just carry on their conversations like gormless idiots!

the worst gta on ps2...and it still gets a 5

yes, the worst game...though it improves on everything that gta3 did...but gta3 is still better...

This game done gave my son nightmares about killin things. I bought it for him just Thursday and every night so far he comes into my room cryin about him shootin civilians in his dreams and this boy is 14. If I was you don't go wastin your money on this here nightmare makin game unless you won't you or your relative go around cryin all the night long. So don't waste your money.

This game is just flat out horrible. If you want a game that is fun to play over and over again, and want great graphics and everything else you should look elsewhere. There is no variety in this game whatsoever.

I'm no whiny "all this violence is bad" crackpot. However the people who designed this game crossed the line. A lot of us complain about the BS in the world and never do anything about it. Well you can do little things, like not pander to gaming companies who take a perfectly fun concept - stealin' cars and haulin' *ss and add such cheesy violence against women. I'm guessing the guys at 'Rockstar' don't get to go on many dates.

Look I've got a little sister, and I don't want the boys at her school growing up playing games like this. The only way Rockstar will take the woman bashing out of their games is if we don't buy them till they do. So yeah, I want to buy this game, but I've played it, and I know what it's about.

And I am voting with my dollars buy spending them elsewhere. When are you going to take a stand?

This is one of the most disrespectful, apalling, and sickening series of games ever created! It's sad because at my school (and I'm guessing ALOT more) even first, second, and third graders are talking about this disgrace on "How cool it is" and "How awesome it is". Rockstar Games should be banned by the government to make these games. What's really shocking is that Parents know there children are playing these games and are doing nothing about it. My sister's friend told his grandma when he got the game that the "M" rating stood for "Minors"! These games should just be taken off the shelves ASAP. If more people played games like Super Mario Brothers and Myst and other fun "E" Rated games, there probably wouldn't be all this children violence.

This will be the best game ever. I can garauntee it because GTA3 was the best game I've ever played in my entire life. This should be the greatest of them all. I encourage you to buy GTA3 because it is great but I cant wait until this one comes out!
