This game is awsome. From the fighting to the guns to the interesting storyline. One of my favorite things are the slow mo dives and the unique disarms. the reason I gave this game only four stars was the lasting impression of the game. Once you beat the levle 3 or 4 times, it gets boring, but thats just me. second, the graphics could be better, but I'm not complaining. Last is the difficulty of the clown car boss. It's just too hard! Once I beat that it'll be a lot more fun and i'll play it more.
P.S.
Go Bucs!

Dead to Rights is a great game it also has a great story and a awesome character Jack Slate.Jack has been in this situation ever since his father was killed by bad guys. His situation is very interesting because it builds suspence and you will be suprised at parts of the story(If I talk more about the story they will be spoilers and telling spoilers is wrong).
This game also has minigames(some are fun and some are so hard that you WILL toss or BREAK the controller).
This other character Hildy is in the beginning and people talked about her also because you play as her in the beginning as a str...er(I replaced some of the letters as stars because some people may find it as a spoiler,If you want know what the word is I left a couple of letters there as a hint.)
I also think this game is better then Max Payne.Max Payne has bad graphics and it's boring.
Dead to Rights has loads of fun and great graphics.Dead to Rights even has better weapons, human shields, and amazing disarms.
In my opinion Max is in PAIN.
(+)Positive Side:
(+)Great Game.
(+)auto-targets.
(+)Bullet-time and disarms.
(-)Negative Side:
(-)Minigames and Boss fights can be tricky.
(-)Some enemys are hard to kill.

Content:Some parents may let their teens play it but maybe not their youngsters below 13.
This has violence and other material that a teen can handle but may be to much for youngsters.

Luckily, this game is found to be the most masterful for those who are new to mastering video games at this rating. Finally, it provides a variety of skills to pass the entire thriller.
Unfortunately, most of the M-rated games are callous, sometimes take a very, very, very, long time to master each one, involve much of the perplexities and acquire so much energy.
As a result, this is a very important recommendation regarding the issue of the adult video gaming and for individuals who plan to master the fighting, action, horror and other types of video games in their future lives.
Thank you for your time and patience!

I recently got this game for christmas and I have to say when i turned it on I didn't put it down for two hours. The weapons and disarms are awesome, and the amount of bad guys won't leave you dissatisfied. I played it on the rookie level and though it is possible to die it's easy enough to stay alive and not get frustrated. Now for the problems. I have not beaten the game yet, but i'm almost on the last chapter and i must say it is a bit repititious. The plot skips around sometimes, and it's the same story, u go into a room and blast the bad guys until you can move on. I think it would have been more fun if u could go about the game being stealthy like Metal Gear Solid, but it's not like that. There are a few instances though where you can sneak up behind some people but they are rare, but exciting when they occur. The last complaint i have is that there is a part of the game where you are tortured and it is almost impossible to pass i literally got blisters on my fingers from doing it but I did get past that part eventually. So, all in all it is a pretty good game with a few problems.
Great game for all type of gamers

It is gritty and dark story about a Bronson/Eastwood like cop. It is action game , there is shooting (best solved problem of PS2 having no mouse to move crosshair ), fist figting and minigames. You can turn blood off, and there is plenty of challenge although I played and completed on Rookie Level.
Some bosses are too easy, some I'd never beat without reading FAQ, and some levels, like ninth , are TOO long compared to the ones that follow.
And yeah, if you think it is repetitive, try Quake 4 to see what is repetitive.
It is ridiculous to compare this game to Jak and Daxter, but I got so much fun outta both, and they left very high impression on me.
Great Action And Story

I've never really felt the minigames were a detriment to the game itself but I can see the point about them disrupting the flow of the action. I think in most cases though they really helped the story along and that's a big plus for this game. I really appreciate when games care about the story and this one really does with Chris Bruno (Sheriff Bannerman on USA's "The Dead Zone") doing a hell of a job narrating the story as Jack Slate. And the action is perfect: fast and fun. You'll never get tired of the disarms or going into bullet time to take out a room full of heavily armed thugs.
Loads of Fun!!! Get this Game Now!

If you're reading this to decide whether or not to buy this game - the answer is YES! If you like The Grand Theft Auto series, you'll love this game! I was totally frustrated with games like Medal of Honor, OO7 NightFire, and Halo, but this game is just endless fun. Great graphics and best of all, for beginning players, it's not impossible to play! Very intuitive and fun. Not at all frustrating, like many first person shooters where you wander aimlessly, forever searching for a key or some necessary item to continue with... Here, if you are killed, you continue right where you left off, and not all the way back at the beginning of a chapter. Also, another GREAT feature, you can save your game anywhere you like.
If you like to shoot 'em up, get this game. Not for kids, but mucho fun for mature audiences. I loved the strip club sequence!
This a great vigilante game.

I'm a huge fan of vigilante games like this. This and Max Payne are cool games where you are on one man vigilante missions, and Dead to rights is much better. In this one you rescue people and use various guns and bazookas and grenades and such, plus your player is skilled really well in hand to hand combat. There's Great visual effects and scenery here. I want to play more games like this, how about one based on The Punisher, that would be a great idea to promote the upcoming movie.

This game is one of the best I ever played. This game tells the story about a bad ass K-9 police officer named Jack Slate avenging his father's death and kicking any/everyone's ass that gets in his way. The graphics are great, the weapons are great and this is a hit. The attitude, fun and aggressiveness of the game makes it one of a kind. I give this game 10/10.
its pretty fun, but not the best

I first heard of it from the commercials and my friends said it was pretty fun, so i checked it out. They were right, it not only has easy to learn controls, but relly cool disarm sequences and it's just cool to watch other people fight hand to hand. The only thing is that the story line is really cheasy as well as the script. Also, when you beat it, you don't play anymore except maybe once or twice a month at the most. i would recommend renting it or buying it cheap becuase it's not difficult to beat, took me 5 and a half hours on normal and 7 on supercop, which is always fun once you get really good. But, all in all, it was fun and you can't stop playing till you beat it, but once you do, you're done with it.
