I didnt have much mmorpg experince before WoW. But wow this was a great game. I want in the final stress test and final open beta. I used every race expect drawf and elf. They are all balanced and all fun. The classes are very important. However they can be divided into 2 main types of combat. Melee,Long range spells/Attacks. You level up farily fast. Plus the players are very nice a helpful *cough* Everquest. The only problem is that it can be sometimes hard to find where exactly you have to go.

So far so good - could be a 5

Hi all,

Have been playing WoW since the Beta Stress Test (thru 2nd Stress and Final Open Beta and into Release) and so far we (wife, I and her brother) are really enjoying it. Aside from the launch server issues (we had to abandon some characters) we are having alot of fun. If it can keep our interest, I see it as a 5 star game.

Ciao,
Old Man

couldn't stop playing!!!!!

Must say first that I do not own this game, but that my cousin has it, and I spend many hours over there. This game is above and beyond anything that I've ever experienced: sorry EQ fans, but WoW simply blows EQ2 out of the water! The amount of things u are able to do are incredible and fascinating. An example being able to point at someone to motion for them to come over here. The graphics are totally Warcraft, and in a sense are beautiful. Its like being able to walk in and out of the buildings in Warcraft 3.
I started out as a human paladin, and it was incredible! I got a hammer, and even when I didn't have it equipped, I could see it slung over my shoulder. Combat is pretty cool, although its not hack-and-slash, its still got a fun sense to it. I'm not an MMO gamer: in fact, WoW is my first MMO I've ever played (besides EQ2). But if you want a good, entertaining, long, fun, interesting game, get WoW.

Okay

This game is jam packed with alot of content for you to immers your self into the game. Pvp element is great along with the RP depending on what server your on.

The Charachter Creation kinda sucks because you cant really be unique in your character designs but yet again dont really mattter since Armor will cover your char up.

Leveling in the game is quite fun its all covered with Quests which makes leveling Fun and also you get rewards for completing quest objectives. Alot of travelling has to be done in the game through some quite beutiful scenery so its not bad if you have a nice G card.

How ever the end game content requires you to team up with 30 or more people to do raids. This is the only way you can advance in the end game which is a real big hassle because finding 40 means chances of you getting it will be low and you will have to wait ages.Crafting professions are nice also with substantial amount of content how ever to retreive the resources or to level up it is mainly combat based because you will most likely have to kill to get to your crafting resources.

How ever in playability this game is really good since it has alot of customers already subscribed. But this MMO will get boring dont get me wrong but with the amount of content and PVP and RP it has im sure you will stay even after 6 months.

Try the game it has 30 days free, i recommend it its been over a year and i am still on it but quit recently due to Real life issues.

Wow or Woooooooooow, Its the game

As a Mom that does not know games that well, I don't think Amazon was very clear in their write-up about the product. You must sign up and pay $15 a month just to play the game. I hear it is a great game, but we returned it.

Very addicting!

This game is great because it's like being in a different world plus you can chat with people to help you level faster. It's very addicting though and the monthly membership is only worth it if you're going to play a lot.
