Best racing Game EVER!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 0 / 0

Of all the racing games ive played, this is the best!!
Pros:
a whloe lot of cool veicles
challinging opponets
better crashes than the first Burnout
fast and furious action

Cons:
The only con is: It gets harder.

(sorry if I spelled anything wrong)

The 50 bucks is the worth watching the crashes alone!!

Great game. The crashes are realistically errie. The slow motion captures the horror & destruction of the crash. Great damage detail. The graphics are great. The speed of the cars are great. The way to get boost by doing dangerous stunts is also fun.

So why did I give it 4 stars. Hmm...Not sure. Theres just somthing about the game that troubles me. I only played it a few times so my initial rating & opinion might change. The only minor flaw is, I think the crashes out weight the actually game experience & the competitveness of racing. The object is supposed to be finishing first not to see a slo motion crash. I wouldn't be suprised if others see this as gimmicky. Either way its great for the game & adds much excitment to it..

We're addicted to Burnout 2!

This game (Burnout 2) is simply addicting to play, wonderful graphics, excellent gameplay, realistic and never-before-seen crashes, make this game a classic in our PS2 library! AND the price can NOT be beat! In stores, this game sells for $49.99 + tax, on Amazon I got it and you can get it from seller Gamestop.com for $19.99 + shipping, 1/2 price compared to retail! The original Burnout is $19.99 in stores! You can't go wrong! What I love most about this game is how fun it is to watch the crashes and see how much damage you can do, obviously this is a game and in real life, our purpose is quite the opposite! You can unlock some great cars in this game - police car and more! The races are fun and challenging, one police pursuit (you are the cop chasing the run-away car) was NEAR impossible, after many tries we finally got it! A subtle cool feature of this game is when cars are in front of you they have a display over their car that says "1st" "2nd" "3rd" etc, so you easily can figure out what place you're in. Dodging cars, trucks, semi's is so much fun. My ONLY complaint is I wish you didn't have to save your progress after every single event, whether in crash mode or racing...just a small negative, but that's it! If you get no other game for your PS2 this Christmas or whenever, get Burnout 2! Enjoy!

One of the BEST Racing/Crashing game title..

I just purchased a copy of this game and let me tell you, the crash mode itself is worth what I've paid for. The graphics are pretty realistic with real life physics when it comes to driving and crashing.

The game is really addictive.

In crashing mode you've to crash into carS (<--yes, its plural) to cause the maximum amount of damge (Its worth watching just the crashes). Racing/Championship mode of the game is far better than many other racing game out there (including Midnight Club 2). You get to drive on the roads with decent amount of traffic, to perform better you'll need to drive wreckless without crashing. The game also has tons of cars to choose from including custom aftermake cars(many unlocks as you win the championship racing).

A game that should be in evereyones home

This has to be one of the best games around. It has a crash mode so you can simply total your car and many other people's cars. A must buy.

Hours of fun!!!

I bought this game yesterday and spent a good part of the afternoon playing it. I played the original version of this, but Burnout 2 is much better. The graphics are pretty good and there are different cars and scenes you can choose. There's even a level where the point of the game is to cause accidents. This is a great game for people of all ages.

Pure fun

The principle of this game is the most simple one, create the biggest crash :) This game is pure fun, so easy and the multiplayer is great.

Even though the purpose is just to create the biggest crash, you will have to use your brain to figure the best way to crash and get the biggest score. The only bad point might be the number of intersections, not enough..

I can t wait for the next one.

Ho Hum.

The only games I play are driving games and martial arts. This is not the best driving game. It has it's good points, like cool crashes and lots of places to drive, but the graphics are mediocre and it does get boring fast. Honestly, I would rather play the first Need for Speed, because it never seems to get boring. My advice is look elseware.
