I was really excited about getting Who Wants to Be A Millionaire. The graphics are well done, and the game is much like the television version. Yet, after just a couple of hours, we began to get a repeat of questions. After just two days of owning this product, I'm lucky to get any new questions. Needless to say, I'm a Millionaire!

I looked forward very much to this game. I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed in it.

It's not a total washout though. The sound and graphics are superb. The music and the "Virtual Regis" do indeed give you the feeling of being a part of the show, even though the best you can accomplish is becoming a "Fake Milliionaire."

Unfortunately sound and graphics alone do not necessarily make for a successful game and, to be quite honest, they stand as the only high-point of this product.

There is obviously a very limited amount of questions in this game. The question repeat after just a few plays. And then they keep repeating. It is so bad that you can play one game and then start another, only to find that one or more of the questions from the previous game repeat.

If you're expecting the easy question to be as simple as the TV show you're going to be very unhappy. There are relatively few "throwaway" answers (in comparison to the TV show) and some of the "easy" questions are, in fact, extremely difficult.

There is a 30-second time limit on each question (unlike the TV show which allowed virtually unlimited time).

The lifelines are similar to the TV show. The operative word here is SIMILAR. 50/50 is exactly like the boob-tube version; two wrong answers are eliminated. The "audience match" is based on a survey of 50 people polled on the Internet ..... amazingly many of the percentages shown are ODD numbers, which is a mathematical impossiblility. That can be forgiven I guess. But the "phone-a-friend" lifeline is extremely poor. The "friend" in each case is "one of Regis's friends" and each is far from being a reliable knowledge source, except on the easiest questions. On the harder ones you might do better using one of your own friends or a Ouija board instead! (The fact that you hear a simulated phone call is entertaining, I suppose, but this is a triumph of style rather than substance.)

Another negative ..... you only get the "Is this your final answer?" question from "Regis" on some of the later questions. On most of the questions if you inadvertently select "B" rather than "C," for example, you are stuck with that choice. This is a real downer.

Another problem ..... you are supposed to press "L" to select a lifeline and then "5" "P" or "A" to indicate which lifeline you want. Unfortunately it is all too easy to forget to press "L" and to immediately press "A" (for "Ask the audience" ..... what happens then is the game assumes you are answering the question with selection "A" ..... at which point there's a 75% chance you will be eliminated from the game!

The game's shortcoming are all too obvious and once the novelty of the music and the "Virtual Regis" wears off there's very little that's that's enjoyable.

Although the graphics are excellent, the game is lacking in a few areas:

1) Not enough questions. Once you've been through a few rounds, you see the same questions again and again.

2) The "Phone a Friend" lifeline is worthless. You phone one of Regis' friends, and they are rarely helpful.

3) The graphics get tedious after awhile- you have to wait so long between each question for the graphics. They get very old by the fifth time you play it.

All in all, this game was fun for a few rounds, and got the whole family involved in a computer game. However, I reccomend visitng the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" website, and you can play there for free. You miss out on some of the graphics, but you can't beat the price!

The graphics are great and the cyber-Regis is a nice touch but this game is SERIOUSLY lacking enough questions. After about 10 games I started seeing some questions for the second time.

This game is GREAT for about 15-20 games. After that, the questions start repeating. If you are looking for one evening of fun and not much more, get it.

Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, is lacking the one thing that could make it a mega-blockbuster. After just two hours of playing the game I started getting repeats. They need to come out with a add on pack with more questions. Ether that or give everyone their money back. If you our looking for a game that is good for just two hours of fun then you have found the game for you.

The game starts out great, but you can get a little frustrated just trying to install the game. Once you are able to play, the graphics are amazing and the sounds are just too realistic, the animation is so superb that even Bill Gates would be jealous. There is a great explanation of the rules for persons who may not have seen the show before. With Regis talking and making jokes even if you lose (which we did) it makes the game fun and exciting. There are great challenging questions but are U.S. based. The lifelines are even fun you get all the options of the Television show except instead of you calling one of your own friends Regis calls one of his. The game is very exciting with lots of surprises around each corner. The only real disadvantage of the game is the multi-contestant, as in the Television show it's fastest finger but it is somewhat confusing and the computer does not always recognise when you have the right answer. All around though the game is exciting and lots of fun. Not in a long time has a computer game been so good that the whole family can gather around and play it together.

REGIS DON'T KNOW JACK

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I'VE PLAYED "YOU DON'T KNOW JACK" (FROM SAME COMPANY) FOR MONTHS WITHOUT GETTING A REPEAT QUESTION. AFTER ONE NIGHT ALL OF THE FIRST 10 QUESTIONS WERE REPEATS. THE MULTI PLAYER FUNCTION DID NOT WORK. I KEPT HITTING VARIOUS LETTER KEYS FOR THE CORRECT ANSWER BUT IT DID NOT REGISTER. FINALLY AFTER MUCH PROMPTING FROM REGIS, HE JUST SHUTS DOWN THE GAME WITH A RUDE REMARK. DID THEY EXPECT PEOPLE TO PLAY THIS GAME ONCE OR TWICE? VERY VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE.

questions repeat itself too quick

I was anxious to get the game as I really like the TV show, but I have to say that the questions really repeat themselves after a short time. I otherwise like it, the theme music,Regis, but this I consider a minus.

Initially a fun game but gets annoying fast . . .

I've had the game for three days and played less than ten times each day. I did not get any repeat questions the first day. But on the second day, I started getting repeat questions. In one game, my first four questions were ones I had already seen before which was annoying. As you keep playing more games, don't be surprised if at least three or more questions are repeats depending on how far you get. This game should have more questions to really be fun.

On the plus side, the sound and graphics are great. It really is just like the TV show. Thus, for the money, I would recommend the game if you really like the TV show.
