If you liked GTA3, you will love Vice City. Instead of being a revolutionary game (as some claim), Vice City is more of an evolution from GTA3. The theme is basically the same, only more vehicles and missions are involved and the scenery is more interactive. Sure, the game is undoubtedly violent, but it is fun nonetheless. Pick up a copy of this game, you will enjoy it.

HORRIBLE GRAPHICS THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE ON THE PS1 not the PS2. It is also just like the older game nothin new but a new city!

Actually better then the PC version. With a memory hack (aka trainer) you could have no cops mode, or unlimted health, and stuff like that. And you can customize the radio with mp3s off your comp which you can play while riding in a car! BUY IT!

Vice City kicks GTA 3 in the pants

I played GTA3 and thought this is a great game nothing is better for a port with improved graphics on PC from PS2 and open ended gameplay until Vice City came along... It has extremely good grapghics, Vice City is almost twice the size of Liberty City, there is lots to do even after beating the missions or not even starting the missions. There voice acting is awsome and new weapons and new vehicles makes it better. You can touch water and not drown. You can buy places so if you're parents are around they don't catch you in the "innapropiate" parts of the game.(i.e. the strip club even though thats only one building) This game is for more mature gamers with its coarse language and brutal realistic violence(another example: headshots are as bloody as hell), but sometimes controversy is better!There are some frustrating missions and there is some graphical issues if you don't have at least a 64MB videocard or higher. One more thing, the sound, graphics, gameplay, and the high replayability make this game a must buy, more liklier though if you're a bit older and have the right hardware...

Talking about a excellent, long game GTA:Vice City breaks all expectations giving you the best game ever.
You are Tommy Vercetti a maf guy that was busted 15 years ago by Sonny, the boss, now Tommy gets out and Sonny puts him in a busisnes, but Sonny sets him up and now we have to find the "merchandise" and the cash.
The graphics are really great, the old 80 songs, a good story and lots of hours or even days or weeks or MONTHS of playng gives you the idea that you really got a really good game.
Talking about the needs...., you will need a good computer to make this game go in a aceptable speed because a friend had a bad computer, bought it and it worked very bad....
This was a great experience, the 80 and the early miami, the crime and all that fun and laughs from tommy that is quite serious.
NOTE: This game is For TEEN, some bocabulary or sceenes are quite "for grown ups" and not for childs, so keep that in mind.
Really this game is one of a kind and is a MUST for people that like action, shooting, adventure, driving and for who ever wants to bring back the 80

This game rules! I can't stop pling it. The missions are fun, but what makes the game great is the freedom. You can go anyware in Vice City (Miami), buy any piece of property you want! Yes, ANY piece of property: clothing stores, wharehouses, night clubs, biker bars, and strip jionts. You lost your coke and your cash. You take work wharever you can find it. You work for everyone from corrupt lawyers to latin drug gods to redneck polititions.
This is a great game to play when you are bord. If you don't feel like trying a mission you can just cruse around and listen to music from the 1980s.
The graphics are beathtaking. Cars and boat are as detialed as I have ever seen on Xbox. Lush pulm trees and sandy beaches make up the sceenry of the game.
There is so much to. Side missions with taxis, police cars, fire trucks, and more are avilable. Rampages are fun too.
The only complaint I have about the game is that you have to hike all over town just to save your game at times.

Great game, but not good to play on a bad computer!

GRAND THEFT AUTO VICE CITY is one of the greatest games of all time! But don't make the mistake I did. I've already owned the game on the PS2, so I made a dumb decision by buying it on the PC, where I thought the game would have better graphics and controls. I WAS DEAD WRONG! Don't buy this game on the PC unless you have a good computer! I have a Windows XP, so I won't recommend you playing games on this computer! The graphics are even worse then in the PS2 version, and the controls are terrible. What a waste of [money]! Don't be a moron like me, and don't buy this game if you have a [bad] computer!

After careful consideration, I think I'm going to have to go against the masses and say that this game was really kind of dumb. I was expecting a lot better. This was my 1st GTA game, and the last.

Sure, it's fun to drive a car/motorcycle/ambulance as crazily as you can and run over people. Sure it's interesting to run from the police... for awhile. Sure it's different to fly a chopper. But really, it gets kind of monotonous. Quickly. After running around the town millions of time and failing some of the same missions, buying weapons and killing people on the street for money... you just find yourself saying, "What's the point?"

Oh, one thing though... KCHAT is hysterical! :)

I first Played this game on PS2 on vacation with a friend of mine and loved and after a while it came out on PC i finally got it and realized it is even better on PC then it was on PS2 which suprised me. I cannot wait til San Andreas comes out on PC and Maybe this time it will come out on Game Cube then i'll buy it on PC and on the cube that would be sweet. If this game was real life which yes i realize it is not, VCPD (Vice City Police Department) would beg me to be a cop because i can drive and shoot and niether the bad nor the good can catch me ahahahahah. Plus i can do this in a game an there is no consequenses like is i was to go kill a cop in real i know that and that is the fun in it it lets you know the truth in things. you steal a cars your gonna get hurt you mess with a gang you may get killed you jump out of a helicopter and land on a tank yea you won't get up it educational.....in on way or another. Have fun And go Rock Star Games!!!!!!
