ok, i love this game. clearly it deserves 5 stars for playability.

however, i am penalizing rockstar by a star for not dispelling/perhaps even spreading the rumour that this was only coming out for PS2--I don't appreciate that at all even though I'm sure sony made a bundle of money selling PS2's just because of it...well, maybe instead of criticising them I should just buy stock...they are hot!

Let's just hope that they can get the PC version out on time this time around.

I can honestly say that this game is worth every penny you spend on it. I have beaten this game over and over and it never gets old. The game play is awesome. I have seen better story lines, but who needs a story line when you can blow things up? You will never run out of things to explore on this game, and I would recomend it to absolutly anyone.

I will assure you that if GTA three was Good, this will be better.
This game takes you back to the seventies, where you could ride diffirent motor bikes and a scooter.
The missions are Satisfactory, but not as I expected them to be.
It is worth buying.
Graphix are much better and alot of errors in GTA 3 are now fixed.
Not only could you purchase shelter, but also fix cars for free, as well as enjoy the beach alongside with a prostitute.

I know that the minimum of the game is a GeForce but has anybody played VC with a GeForce 2? Does it still operate smoothly with a GeForce 2? Just post below if you have an answer for me. Thanks

If you liked GTA3 you will LOVE GTA:Vice City

I'm a 100% PC only gamer so when they finally released GTA:Vice City for the PC I was stoked. I could go into a long winded discussion of the excellent graphics, the perfect voice casting, the well set up and imaginative missions, and the free form playing....but I won't. All you really need to know is this:

-Liked GTA3? Buy GTA: Vice City. It's that simple

Amazing sequel to GTA III

In the month that GTA: Vice City came out, I read an article about it in PC Gamer in which the designers of the game discussed their thoughts and goals. They concluded that they could have made a whole lot of money if they simply repackaged GTA III with some subtle differences that didn't require much effort, but that they wanted to give gamers a great deal more.

Though the gameplay of Vice City is very similar to GTA III, the vehicle and weapon additions to the game were very creative and the plot and characters make the game far better than that its predecessor. Though the storyline is obviously a complete rip-off of the movie Scarface, the game carries itself brilliantly and the characters are wonderfully developed. The main character, Tommy Vercetti, finds himself in Vice City as a low-level mob thug trying to retrieve some lost money. As the game unfolds, Tommy makes more and more friends in high places, and as he makes money from pulling off various jobs, he can acquire properties throughout the game until he basically owns Vice City. The entire game reeks of the 80's: the clothing, the music, the cars, all contribute to the time period.

By far the best addition to the game is the motorcycle. The vehicle moves faster than a car and though it is much easier to take a spill in an accident, a player can perform wheelies and stoppies and make much cooler jumps off of ramps than with cars.

Vice City was a very original game, and I can't wait to see what Rock Star comes out with next in the series.

I played it for half a year and totaly LOVED IT.Definately best game ever.No second thoughts Game Of The Year!But after half a year my parents took it away said it was to violent.well GTAVC kick A$$ for shore.AWSOME

What a SEQUEL! This is an amazing game. The story is fantastic and the game play will keep you going for over a year. I have played this on and off since it was released and still go back to it. How many games can say that? This is one PS2 game that is well worth the money. If you have a PS2 then you must own Vice City. It is as simple as that.

i got this game for my birthday and it was completely amazing!!
There is just so much to do on it plus if ever you get bored with a mission you can try and complete a getaway with a five star wanted level. My favourite thing about this game is that you have to earn money then buy lots of places such as mansions, factories and loads of other cool stuff and once you buy them you can do more missions. The only downside for this game is that it is highly addictive.
Overall a very exiting game.

This is a great interactive game. Almost everything can be hit and destroyed. The best part from the other GTA games is the motorcycles. They are so life like that it feels like real life. The motorbikes actualy work well on dirt unlike some games and the cars are cool to. THis game may seem inapropiate for some people but i didnt think it is. I agree they could have taken the sexual stuff out of it and more kids would get it. There is a lot of blood. I hate people who say it is video games that make kids get violent but it is their choices not their video games. Other than the sexuality (Which isnt that bad) I love this game!
