Vice City is another GTA winner

Vice city is another quality game in the GTA series. Excellent graphics and the addition of letting you play your own MP3's in the car is great!
It seems a little more rigidly structured in the storyline then GTA2 and GTA3(Never played GTA1). thats my only complaint.

Still a great game!

I never played GTA3 but I do have Black and White which is an amazing game. Vice City really out does Black and White. I had trouble getting the game to play but went to Rockstars website and tried everything they said to do and was able to get it to run.
I love the music. I love the fact that the cops can't get you if you sprint. I am new to the game so controlling the cars and motorcycles is a little challenging using the keyboard. I am addicted to it and hope to uncover all the secrets of Vice City.

A very good game except for one small thing, When you are driving all of the vehicles, the forward movement control, should be on the joystick, or gamepad, throttle, so one can control his or her speed. I could really enjoy cruising around town, with music playing, if this could be fixed with a patch. I am sure it can be.

Better than GTA3

I love the rich gameplay and speed of the entire thing!
I was able to get 21 fps on a PentiumIII/500MHz with an AOpen nVidia GeForce2 MX-200 with 32MB of video memory. (Despite the 800MHz minimum requirement)

Rockstar outdid themselves with this game - really feels like you're in the 1980's, especially the music (like Working for the Weekend by Loverboy), and one of our favorite DJ's is back! Lazlow is now hosting VRock...

Many cars made a comeback (including Perennial, Bobcat, Infernus, Cheetah, Manana), while they lined up even more, including a helicopter that you can fly!

Of course, the game releases many cars (A released car gets removed from the engine as soon as it leaves the screen)... but hey! makes it easier to get a car when yours blew up... just spin in circles, and kick the guy on a Sanchez off!

Total: 97% (-3 for occasional overheating, but only when extremely intensive on entire system, and it only happens after a couple hours of gameplay)

this is the best game ever better than three. It has helicopters actual planes not just the dodo!and parents if this game was a bad influence we'd have lots of people shooting each other all the time!!! if you liked the other grand theft autos this is a definate buy.

This game KICKS!!!! Its cool although the game is kinda short you are givin numerouse side missions witch make it up. The bikes could be better seeing how you fall off very easily but overall this game rules. Its always fun to pick up a gun and blow a dudes head off. (on video games) This game has it all. tons of weapons and tons of vehicles. This has to be one of the best games out.But altouhg this game rules it still has its flaus. The game is kinda glitchy. and the dude looks a bit fruity when he runs. But like i said this game is worth checking out. i would give thumbs up to anybody who asked.

Its almost the same exact thing as PS2 (Exept graphics r bad).
The aspect of the thing is..If u dont have PS2 then hopefully you have a P.C

Yes this is a great game. That being said, if you enjoyed GTA3 there isn't too much new here. There are some cool new things but all in all its all familiar. Personally I totally dislike the Miami-ish setting. It's flat and boring, much like Florida. Liberty City was far superior. If you have a fast computer and a killer 3d card you will love the graphics. On my XP 2.0 Ghz P4, 1Ghz RDRAM, and brand new ATI 9800 Pro 128MB video card the graphics are pretty stellar. The game itself has no real customizing options for graphics, but my card does, so I'm running 6x anti ali. and 16x antro. filtering at 1280x1224. Looks great. Can't wait for Doom 3 which will really put my system to the test. All in all, I recommend buying this game. Oh, and if you haven't played Max Payne, what the h are you waiting for?

I played Grand Theft Auto III without a clue about the game, and I was blown away. I was completely addicted to it. I loved all the mafia missions, the do-what-ever-you-want style game play. The thing that was good about it was the gangs. You could have gang fights against what gang you didn't like. The thing with Vice City is, that there is barely any gangs and I was already used to the game play style, so I thought. There is so much more to do in Vice City than you can imagine. Pizza Delivery, helicopters, motorcycles, and ofcourse the ever so popular rampages.

The plot is that you are sent to to Vice City for a cocaine deal that gets messed up and you try to find the guy who messed it up. When you finnally do,(very early in the game) you start to take over the city, and buy property, which gives you more missions, and money. The land is twice as big as Liberty City, but more organized so it's easier to get around and It doesn't feel as big. The thing I have to say is that Vice City is one of those games you never get tired of playing because the posibilites are endless. The only reason why the rating isn't a perfect 5 stars is that people are just to picky when it comes to games, and don't rely on the game play. I say Vice City is great, but I enjoyed GTA III better because I played it first. Still Vice City is a great game, and I cant wait until GTA IV comes out.
