The game is brilliant but I suggest that being capable of entering some towers can be even more exciting.

This is a great game.It's a lot of fun.It has great graphics.I like roming around.I like just stealing cars and having the cops chase me.I also like going up on roofs and blowing cars up with rocket launchers , gernades , and bazoocas.

Unbelievable feeling of the 80's

How did they do it? I don't know. You feel like you're in the 80's. Is it the neon-lights of the hotels on Ocean Beach? Or is it the the awesome rock/pop soundtrack? Or is it the dialogs and the characters in this game that make you emerge into 1986? Overall, this is probably one of the best games EVER produced. Numerous scenes in this game were ACTUALLY taken from the movie "Scarface". The drive down Ocean Beach (remember beginning of Scarface before the chainsaw scene?), the Malibu club (modeled after The Babylon in Scarface), the Tommy Vercetti mansion (the exact replica of the Tony Montana mansion), etc. Rockstar kicked MAJOR A$$ with this one. It beats "True Crime: Streets Of LA" hands down.

Oh, and to everyone who gave this rame a 1, 2, or 3 star rating...you are absolutely clueless to what an amazing game should be like, and need to lighten up.

If you still haven't played this game and fumbling around through reviews to decide whether to buy it or not, pay close attention to what I'm about to say: BUY IT!

Most of the reviews here are true and that this is one of the best video games ever invented.

To the rest of reviewers who are dissapointed that this game is just like GTA 3, I got only one thing to say to you: If it ain't broken, why fix it? GTA 3 was great, then why change it in GTA VC???

And to the guy who edited Hillary's car to beat him in a race: SHAME ON YOU!!! Tommy Vercetti and I are very dissapointed...

Youre going to feel like youre in the game!!!

I have 1 word for this game, EXELLENT!!!
I had this game for some time now, and I finally decided to right a review about this. Well the game is great, there is more then a 100 cars in this game, and a lot of cool weapons.
To be hounest the only bad thing in this game is that there is only 1 level but it's huge. The levels were hard so I used cheats. I think its funner with cheats. Some diffrences from vice city, and GTA3 is that in vice city there are motorcycles. You can buy houses/clubs and get money for that. The guy Tommy Vercety (im not shure if I spelled his name right) is talking in Vice City, but not in GTA3. You can ride helicaptors in vice city.You cant ride a train in vice city, and I think GTA3 too.
There is a lot of sweet new cars in Vice City.
Basiclly the game is exellent and you should get it.
Playing Vice City on PS2 is better than computer because the countrolls are easyer, though I played this game on computer.

So remember buy the game only if you are Mature since there is a lot of violence.

And I promise that you are going to love it!!!

This game is better and longer than GTA3. Althouhg it is easy to finish the story missions. I find myself only 45% done after completing the story of the game. Fact is, there are so many side missions that it gets addictive and you just keep coming back for more. A lot of secrets and cool cars. 2 types of helicopters, and a skimmer to fly. if you have money, buy this game. if not, try getting it the other way like me.

This game is truly a joy to play. And for once, it's not because of outstanding graphics. While the graphics are impressive, it's the gameplay that counts. Anything you can think of to do you can do in this game. (As long as it's not legal... just kidding) And there's so much to do, and so many ways to do it, yo'll never get bored! I've owned this game for more than a month and I'm only 33% done. Although squeamish gamers might want to pass up on this amazing game. A headshot is a gory animation, leaving your victim headless and spewing a fountain of blood. Still, a great game all around. Worth every cent and more!

You liked GTA 3? you will like this game!

This is a great, long, and hard game.
sometimes you will get mad on the "bad" guys, but this game is really fun!
if you like games like GTA- buy this game! this isn't a waste of your money!

Grand theft auto Vice city, You are tommy versetti yo are just arriving in Vice city comming from Liberty city. When you first arrive you go on a drug deal, And you figure out that the whole thing was a set up, But just so happens that Tommys friends on the drug deal all get shot up! So tommy runs and jumps in the car and... You will have to get the game to find out! But you go out on a big cool adventure to take over vice city, This game is both fun and addicting and you will find your self! Playing it for hours with non stop game play with beautiful graphics and an exciting story line that'll keep you guessing and playing I highly recomend this game i give it Five out of five stars enjoy!!

GTa vice city is the best game ever. It's so realistic and has way better graphics than gta 3.You can do missions, or just roam around and cause chaos, or do stunts in cars, bikes, helicopters, boats, golf carts, and even mopeds. This game has a sick inventory of weapons, like, chainsaws,shotguns, pistols,machine guns,flame throwers, and sniperifles. evrything about it is enhanced. this game is a five and always will be.
