Graphics aren't great, how many of the same person can you have walking down the street?? Game play not very realistic. I do not recomend anyone to buy this brand new. Rent it first then MAYBE by it used! GTA Vice City is much better.

No I have not played this game yet and actually I am very excited too. I played GTA3 and GTAVC and those are alot of fun but alot of fading colors behid a charecter when they walk or a really bad setup in shooting. You have no aiming that is good in GTA 3 or VC what so ever besides the sniper and some rifles but this is where Activision is picking up on where Rockstar left off. You will have better guns from what I have seen and will have a better setup on selection like having a pistol in one and a automatic in the other. The auto aim will waste GTA and will make the shooting part so much more fun. The cars already look sweet!. I have seen a Dodge Viper, Porshe, MC Flaren, Jaguar and alot more other cool cars. The really cool thing is the way the story is setup. If you start shooting innocent people your good cop meter will go down and the cops will stop helping you and start turning on you. You can be just like the GTA guy or just like your supercop guy you pick. From what I have seen I can promise you this that this game wont dissapoint. Try this game out and see for yourself. I haven't played this game yet but have read everything on it.

THIS GAME IS GONNA BE THE BOMB WHEN IT COMES OUT. IT IS LIKE GETTING GRAND THEFT AUTO FOR GAMECUBE. ALSO THERE IS A CODE FOR GETTING SNOOP DOG AS A CHARACTER. IMAGINE ROAMING THE STREETS AS BIG SNOOP DOG. WHEN THIS COMES OUT I AM GONNA GET IT.

wuz up all GTA fans but if u're thinking this game is better than GTA3 or vicecity Ure WRONG....i have this game and i played it for 2 hours and is so boring the only thing that i good is the size of the city...is sos so so HUGE that's cool...but this game is as good as the getaway....lacks story ties..lacks of good weapons..and most of the city is pretty much the same I'll GIVE THIS GAME A 5 OUT OF TEN......DON'T BUY IT JUST RENT IT FIRST THEN BUY IT IF U LIKE IT...DON'T WASTE UR MONEY!

True Crime: Streets of L.A. is off the wall. For me its a Gamecube Grand Theft Auto. If you dont have a X-box or Playstation 2 thie is the best GTA knock-off. The only place it may be lacking is the size of the town, with 240 miles of roads its pretty easy to get lost. As for story plot its pretty interesting. A real blue collar expierence.

THIS GAME ROCKS,HOWEVER I NEVER PLAYED IT. BUT ITS BETTER THAN GTA:VC ALTHOUGH THEY SAY!! EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE A COP THAT MAKES IT BETTER. GTA AND ROADRGE MADE THIS GAME. EVEN THOUGH THE NAKENESS AND BLOODY VOILENCE. THIS WOULD MAKE A PERFECT CHRISTMAS (OR ANY OTHER RELGOINISH) GIFT!! MAYBE THE GRAPICS AREN'T GREAT BUT, I AIN'T PICKIE. I HEARD $MONEY$ IS NOT AVAILBLE OR EAZY TO GET!! THIS GAME WILL BE THE GAME OF THE YEAR!!(IF YOU TAKE OUT HALO 2)!! EVERYONE I KNOW IS GETTING THIS GAME. IF YOUR A FAN OF GTA:VC AND ROADRAGE!! I cannot believe the good reviews that people have put on here!!!
Bad Bad Bad Bad.
First of all, it's all all platforms, the only one I have played is on the gamecube, I hope it's better on the other platforms.

This game feels like it was rushed together at the last minute to get the Xmas orders.
It tries to be all in one game, fighting, driving, shooting but doesn't master any.
Driving is unresponsive, unrealistic, boring
Fighting is slow, limited moves and boring
Shooting, useless guns, limted control and accuracy and boring
Total game can be played in 3hrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One reviewer said to rent before you buy, I couldn't agree more.
There are much better games out there like Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto etc etc etc

The code has bugs, bad bugs. Bugs that are more annoying than those carrying the west nile virus!
When you go (drive or walk) through trees, you see extremely basic block tree's and you lose sight of the character.
Another annoying bug is that certain levels it doesn't recognize you have taken control of another car, and at one level you need a fast car to get through.
You have limited movement to dodge bullets, limited moves to fight.

After playing the game you will be left with a very cheap bitter aftertaste in your mouth.

Plain and simple, 50 bucks is not worth it for this game.
If you truly want it, wait until it drops in price.

As an avid fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, I was really looking forward to True Crime. I mean, I was REALLY looking forward to it. It's too bad that they put all that work into it for nothing. There are so many things wrong with this game, but I'll only name a few: 1), the length. The game can be beaten in two days or less (if you can handle the extreme level of difficulty). Which brings me to the number 2), the difficulty. At a few points in the game, difficulty reaches near impossible. I nearly smashed my controller a few times. 3) No boats, planes, helicopters, bikes, nothin'. Just about ten different cars to choose from in this massive and pointlessly recreated Los Angeles.
This game was the biggest let-down in gaming history, as far as I'm concerned. It had so much going for it. I'm warning you, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. At the very most, rent it with a gift card at blockbuster.
It's sad, really.

I got this game about a week ago, and I was immensly satisfied. It's awesome! you get to roam around with 250 sqare miles of SPACE! This is te best game that i'v ever played in my entire life of gaming. It's like GTA but for GC. It's not even as violent either! I think this game should be rated Teen. In my opinion, it's appropriate for 12-13 years and up.the only flaw i think is theres no motorcycles. But this is like the first game that is better than GTA but that is not NEARLY as violent. Go out buy this game NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
