What a fun game

This game offers so much. If you buy it, make sure you have a weekend to play because you won't want to leave your computer. There's so much to do and if you're a fan of the Sims then you know what I'm talking about.

This is a great expansion pack. I believe it is the best expansion pack that Maxis has made. The downtown area is a nice addition to the game, giving the Sims that you created a new area to interact with each other. This is well worth the $30 that they are asking for.

You can see all the other reviews to get the details/specs of the game. I just want to tell you how much fun this game is!!! And when you build your relationships to the point where your Sims will mug-down (while on a date) in a restaurant, it is worth all the hours of time you will put into it. It is hilarious! But not as funny as seeing them roll around on the picnic blanket. Of course it is not obscene, they even blur out visits to the can, but it sure is funny to see your characters in action. The first time you get slapped (after getting too fresh with your date) is pretty good too. Get it! It is fun and if you have time to kill (or even if you don't like me and just stay up an hour later), this is the game for you!!!!

Awesome Third Expansion!!

Even if you aren;t the most romantic kid on the block, you'll love Maxis's third expansion pack for "The Sims": Hot Date. Not only does this pack add new skins (faces and outfits), objects, (such as the heart-shaped hot-tub), and wall/floor coverings, it also adds the all new "Downtown" area and dozens of new interactions (such as Suave kiss, Jump-Into-Arms hug, and Check Out). Downtown is a great new place because it now allows your Sims to go out to dinner, shop for new clothes, and meet new people. Also, if that isn't enough to do, you can add to the compilation of Downtown lots already given to you with the game by creating your own. Add a mall, restaurant, whatever you can think up to entertain those interseting little creatures, the Sims. After you have purchased The Sims, Livin Large, and House Party, purchase Hot Date. It will add a little romance to your Sims' sad lives.

I think that this expansion pack, like the others, is quite exceptional. Though nothing is perfect, and there are some drawbacks to this game, I still give it 5-stars anyway.
Also, which may make the game more interesting and fun.... You can download a lot there (though it's under contruction at the moment...) which makes gameplay more fun and, in some cases, "easy".
Ultimately, I think that this game is quite addicting and gives me something to do that is fun as well. I recommend this, and other expansion packs, to almost anyone (just because of the interactions between people; some parents wouldn't find it suitable for their children).

Wow! I love this game it's funny and cute. You can take 1 sim out of your house and go to downtown, where you can shop for Wedding, lingerie, casual, and swimsuits, Magazine's, jewelry, toy's, and candy! You can invite a sim on the phone, at your house, or even downtown. The object of the game is to get married even though I think it's funner not being married because you can't ask your spouce to go on a date. There are more things to do too! Sounds perfect huh well 1 of the only setbacks is children can't go (it's so unfair!) overall it's a great game!! :o)

Of course i haven't played the game yet, but by looking at the sims web site i must say this is one hot sims game! I plan on getting it as soon as it comes out, truely a must have for a sims fan or even for a sims enemy!

I thought it would be worth it, but its not

This game is entertaining for the first three days, and then the appeal wears off. It takes a plethora of tedious and miniscule tasks to get one major thing accomplished. Buying this game would be the worst waste of money ever.Although there is 125 new items, you need to build al lthe buildings and areas, and it takes too long to enjoy. Heed this warning and do not buy this game.

My daughters and I have been avid fans of The Sims since the game came out. One of our only complaints was that the Sims were limited to their own neighborhoods and never had an opportunity to really go out and have fun.

Well, our Sims have finally been liberated. The highs and lows of dating are now a cab ride away. Excuse me, I have to get ready for a hot date.

I have been a big fan of the sims and when I heard of another expansion well excited doesn't cover it.So I max out a charge card and ordered it from one of greatest stores online,Amazon.com.In short the objects are outstanding but you have to tell your sims where to go and what to do the free will play is gone no more sitting back and watching.If your a control freak then this expansion is for you.
