This is the best SIMS expansion pack yet. It is so much fun to go out on dates with people. There are way more actions for you to do and lots of new features. It is packed with tons of new objects and people. This is the best SIMS game ever! I promise you will love it! The downtown area you can crete your self or leave it how it comes. There is lots of new stores restraunts, casual and formal. There are waiters, paino players, any thing you can imagine! I lvoe this game and I'm sure you will too.

I think this expansion should have had a rape and date rape module. Come on, you know you would like this. Men could try to slip some roofies into their date's drink and women could be attacked at night by violent sexual predators.

I don't like the friendship bar.

The game is ok, but the only thing I really don't like about it is that the friendship bar goes down very quickly and you really cannot enjoy having a relationship with other sims without the friendship bar going down. With the other Sims games, the bar only goes down after the end of the second day, that makes even more sense than this Hot Date game. Even when you meet other people you can't call or see them again. So all in all, it's boring if you ask me.

Oh man where to begin. When I Bought this Expansion 4 years ago, I had no Idea, Id sill be building restaurants and going to downtown as much as I did when I bought the game. The Music is terrific, with fast and slow jazz music to fit the romantic downtown feel of the game. All the Stores and Restaurants, and tons of Social options that boosted the social ladder in the Sims higher then they expected! If you havent already bought this game, Its been 4 years!! Buy it already!

I don't yet have sims hot date, but i'm planning on getting it as soon as it's avaliable. I have all the previous versions of the game, incuding the sims livin large and the sims house party. I have to say, this is the best game i've ever played. I recommend everyone 13 years of age or older to get this game, IT'S # 1!

Ok, I don't exactly have this game yet, but it looks really awesome. I have both livin' large, and house party, and they are both great. Although, with all games, they get boring after a while. So, what better than an expansion pack to make things more interesting?! I'll be waiting, very excitedly, til november..... :)

We've rated this game as a ***** game because it has features that we've been hoping for since the first time we played the original The Sims game. We kept wondering why we couldn't go to our neighbors houses and we thought it would come out in Livin' Large. It didn't in Livin' Large so we hoped maybe House Party would. No, not this one either. We read the reviews by Gamespot.com and looked over the screenshots and drooled over our keyboards in amazment. What we've been praying for came true. I just got married on this game they love each other so much that they keep kissing each other I just cant stand it I am so happy I got this game now it takes a long time to do this they always say we need to talk or Im hungry or we need to have some to fun or im in a bad mode so it does take a long time so their you have it thank you.

Does not work on an xp platform!

Don't get fooled by the great reviews if you have an xp platform! Sims Hot Date does not work on it. It sounded great to me at first but then I relized it required an older platform!!!!!!!!!!!! like wouldn't they update it to run on xp?(DOy)

This game look like so much fun that I cant wait till I get mine. With so many new features it makes me wonder "what will the next one be like?" I enjoy playing the other Sims games and will probly enjoy this one even more!
