this is a great game from maxis, who is one of the best computer game simulation companies(the sims, sim city, sim theme park). the graphics are great and dont get choppy even on a low video card, like i have. my only problem is that there could be more buildings, but overall a great game. BUY IT!

Well the people at Maxis has done it again with another genious return of SimCity 3000. If u think the sequel was good wait till u try this game. Even though it left out some of the disasters like Hurricanes, Plane Crashes, and Floods this time, they even left the scenarios out, but once u r up and running on this game u will be hooked on it forever. They have a good variety of Starter Towns to get u to know about the game, and this time u could download real city terrains like NYC, San Francisco, Russia and etc. Plus they give u already made cities to. So be sure get SC3k and also SC3K Unlimited edition to.

Get it before there gone!!!

I turned it on and my computer said want to load.... ok i loaded then it said play i played it.... couldn't play cuz i couldn't find my mouse then it said "system failed". Thats what i call fun HA. Well i got news for you thats not what i call fun HA. I learned that all of the buildings fell down when my city had an earthquake to HA. WONDER WHY IT FAILED SO SADLY. This actually hapended HA.

Well,I actually liked this game,its pretty fun,you can make all kinds different landmarks,and you make and control your your own city!But,the main problem with it was i couldn't figure out how to save a game-It didn't say anywhere,and it was so furasturating!!!!!!!!!but other than that it was pretty fun,I would recomend any Sim game-especially Sim Tower......Also You might like Zoo tycoon,and the Roller Coaster Tycoon games.....

They say not to install this game on a Gateway computer, because it will uninstall after you quit. But I have a Gateway computer and have experienced the same problems. However I have a way of playing the game without having to re-install it by first inserting the disk and waiting for the main page to pop up. Click quit and then click on start and access the all-programs, and look for a Maxis file. Once you find it click and the Sim City 3000 file should be there. You should then be able to play the game without having to install it again.

Fun at first but gets old VERY fast and isnt worth your time get the unlimited version for like 3 or 4 bucks more and enjoy.

in simcity u control a city. u can build a map or just use the default one. It is very fun! you have 2 supply them with water and power. they need transportation to their place of business and 2 shopping.

Me and my brother bought this game when it first came out. At first we played it all the time but it starts to get to become boring.At first , the game is very difficult and fun. You have trouble knowing what laws to pass and how to build up your city. you have to pay off your debts and still have extra money. you have to figure out what deals you should be making with neighboring towns. you have to expand the population of your city. you have to figure out a good tax rate. you have to figure out how many schools, hospitals, police stations, and fire stations to build and where you should put them. you have to make a yearly budget for how many parks, libraries, museums, jails, colleges, zoos, ballparks, bus stops, and train stations. you have to cope with natural disasters, UFO attacks, and riots. it's fun at first, but it's always the same so it gets boring.
