This game is VERY fun adn entertaining. If you get a demo of it on your new computer like I did, DONT TURN IT OFF. You'll want to play for hours, trying to squeeze every bit of fun out of the demo. I had a very slight lag issue, but only because my processor is pretty wimpy. It was annoying how your pet would auto attack any enemy it came remotly close to, but luckily, my pet was always stronger and faster, so is wasnt a problem. It's pretty cool how every player gets a different 'major' boss to face (mine was some large ice giant). But nevertheless, its an extremely fun game. One last downside; when I bought this game directly from Wild Tanget, I couldn't unlock it because I have no Internet for my laptop. Hopefully, this version will let you play without internet.

A good game that will hold your attention until Borderlands for Xbox 360 arrives in late 2008.

I enjoyed this game. It is very similar to Diablo in some respects, but the item options, the pet, and the missions make this game more interesting. In addition, the graphics are much smoother than Diablo. Overall a very fun game and I have spent many hours with the intention of spending many more on this game.

We bought this game for our grandson's 11th birthday. He really loves it and plays it with his older sister all the time. I did get a hint from him about this game because he had played it at a friend's house and had had a lot of fun with it. It was a successful birthday present.

I love the fact that there are limitless levels and you can go back over and over to raise your levels. That you can pick between male and female characters and whither you have a cat or dog companion is a great perk.

OK, it's not quite what the new genre of "Casual Game" has defined, but it is really great to sit down and play it casually. Not difficult to master, mostly about building your character, no story line to speak of, but still strangely fun. It will never be up there with Diablo II or Warcraft, but sometimes you just want to play a game that doesn't matter so much, you know? So, load it up, kick back, and have a few hours (or more) of fun without having to worry about saving the world as we know it!

First off, I am not much of a gamer. I have played Lord of the Rings The Return of the King and Diner Dash 1 and 2 Pack but that is the extent of my gaming.
Until Fate.
Some time ago, I bought a new laptop that came with several demo games. About two weeks ago, I decided to finally start playing some of them. I installed and played Fate and became addicted.
The game is so interactive and fun. Even in the demo mode, I could still find things to do (although I never leveled up). Now that I have the full version, I find myself spending tons of time weaving through levels and collecting items.
The game is very simple. You chose your character (male or female with name) and pet (dog or cat with name). Then you interact with the townsfolk to accept missions into the dungeon. In the dungeon, you complete the mission and return to town to collect the fame, experience, and reward (sometimes a better weapon, armor, or jewelry). Eventually, you must defeat the final villain given to you at the beginning of the game.
If you are not a gamer, you will probably like (like me). If you are a so-so gamer (like my sister), you will probably like. If you are a hard-core gamer, you will probably like.
The only problem? When am I going to find enough time to play?

My son got this game as a demo on the computer he got for CHRISTmas. He liked it so much he had to buy the program right away. Great role playing, multi level, great characters. We could not find it at the local stores (Wal Mart, Circuit City etc) so we ordered it online. It was cheaper than unlocking it but certainly not faster. We had to wait almost a week. If I had it to do over again I would have just unlocked the program and bought the back up disk for a couple more dollars.

Great fun with Fate!

No problems with installing, etc. Good fun and hours of entertainment. Don't need CD after installing which is nice. Worth buying.

Fate, is a very well made game.which has a couple flawes,As well as highlights.highlights are the dificiulty which makes the game less likely to become boreing but this also causes alot of frustration.another highlight is the fact this game consists of other game chateristics that many people love, such as many weapons and armour and fishing which allows to catch useful items as for the bad thing ill save those 4 another review.
