This has got to be one of the hardest of the "Z" games to ever come to NES. But heck, its one of those that started it all back in the 80's. Not the best thats for sure, but it is good !

I don't even have this game because it was sold out. But I heard it was pretty cool. Plus, i'm the first reviewer of this product. I would get it if it wasn't sold out since i have ervery other Zelda game except for the new ones.

I believe ths is the best game i have played on n64 i am surprised that some people do not think it's very good. i am glad i got it if i didn't i would be old school i know it.

This game raised the standards on how ADVENTURE/RPG games are rated. This game, in fact STARTED the RPG craze. The game is 100% classic in every sense of the word. I still remember spending countless hours playing this game as a kid. The world you explored as Link was very small in comparison to some of the newer Zelda adventures. Somehow, though Nintendo found a way to make it all seem so huge and endless. You could explore for hours and not realize you were going over some of the same places. Finding everything was tough, but that's how a good game really should be. The music and sound FX compared to what you'll hear in a game NOW are awful, but at the time they were some of the greatest you would hear in any video game. TRY THIS GAME IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY... YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!

did'ya hear??? There is a new Zelda game! It's for Gamecube and
the graphics are so real sadly link has the worst graphics ever... But it's al right 'cause it IS a CHALLENGE!!!

I have this game, but I've never played it because I got it when I was really little, and about five or six years ago my Nintendo broke. :( So, I really don't know what I should rate it. I don't really know much about the game, except what I've heard about it either.

One of the Best NES games ... and most likely the best Zelda

This game was the original Zelda, it has the old 8 bit graphics but the game play still holds up for hours of fun and puzzle solving. Just think about it if this game never made it big, you wouldn't have the new ones !

By far, this zelda is the best, w/ out it i wouldn't own any other nintendo systems, this game is full of adveture and puzzles and a ton of optional quests! w/ 9 castles, bosses and a second quest, this game will leave memorys in your mind forever.

It's kind of hard to believe this is the game that eventually led to Majora's Mask. The challenge of this cartridge is incredible. At first glance, it may look easier than the newer versions, but it maintatains the classical difficulty just like other Zelda games. If you have an NES, you have to have this game!

It is a fun game but can be tough sometimes especially if you don't have very many heart containers. I never finished the game because it was a little to hard for me, but I enjoyed it none the less.
