I cant stop playing this game. Its just the concept of running around the city, slamming into cars into the subway, mailboxes, and everything else in your path. You can create traffic jams, just like the original. Now the damage detail is even better. I found that you can smash many parts off your car while cruising through san fran or london. Also, you can download new cars or tracks off of the internet, another fun thing about this game. Just search for Midtown Madness 2 new cars and you will find plenty of stuff.

This game is a very good simulation of racing and just "cruisn'." There are about 18 cars to choose from and 2 cities...London and San Francisco. This has true to life landmarks and other really neat stuff. BUT, If you are running on a 450 Mhz or slower, I would highly recommend that you NOT buy this game unless you like "chipping." The game chips alot if you don't have a processor faster than a 450 Mhz. My computer is a 400, and London is the only city I can play and enjoy. Overall, this game is really good! BUY IT!!

I don't have the game, but I do have the trial version and I absolutely love it! It is next on my wishlist! It is a great sequel to the first game. Although the first game was more realistic, I enjoy the second a lot because it is just fun. I don't recommend this game for big racing fans because I really didn't like to play in the races. The cruise option is what really caught my attention. Its like real driving only with a lot of comic relief added in. If you want a real racing game, I recommend the Need For Speed series, but if you just want to settle down and have some fun, this game is perfect! Recommended for all ages.
