i think yugioh DDS is on one of the best gameboy games i ever played. although the gameplay is slow the gameplay is great.it has help me play the yugioh card game that i have been playing with my friends. i have collected alot of yugioh both on the game and in the cards. and anybody who reads this review here a little help to get you started with the help of yugi grandpa(65437205)after you type this code in you will get two cards one from your opponet one from yugi's grandpa

This game can be hard, but it is also very short.There are 21 people to face.You basiclly build a deck, build up your duelist level by winning to play better cards, and then you duel more.The good thing is, that you start with a deck.

Yu-Gi-Oh has already provin it's fun to the world but coming out with a game as amazing as this... Just gettin' greedy. This game has a 5 star capability and should be bought everywhere!

its the best yugioh game on video yet. The cards rock its a little hard and is really really fun the graphics are pretty bad and that combine card thing is confusing but overall this game is really good! ( game winners for really good cheat codes)

Warning: Dark Duel Stories can be addictive!
When I first heard about it, I didn't expect much. I mean, c'mon!
A Yu-Gi-Oh! GBC game! I thought that it would be ridiculously absured like the PokeMon game or something. Little did I know that it would be highly addictive and was a intrigueing game. You can play this game for literally hours! To make a long story short, I highly recommend this game! :)

Although I haven't gotten the game yet, this and all the other Yu-Gi-Oh games look really fun, especially this one and Forbidden Memories. It uses a lot of strategy, plus there are some really cool cards-and specials. If you get a new one in the box are three cards with a code that you can use to get it in the game. The best part is with the right code, every time you win a duel you get a trap or magic card from a certain player. This looks like one of the best games-perhaps even better than Zelda. I plan on getting it as soon as I find it (which might be a while. If you like games that you need to use your brain on, not just strength, this is the game for you.

I think that this game is super fun until you beat yami yugi 5 times and dont get a new aponent.Hears a tip.You know the number at the bottem of moast real cards?If you do do this.The ones you want go to passwords on the game and use that code and that card will apper in your chest.

As much as I'm a fan of Yugioh, I'm sad to say that lately my oppinion of the game has gone down the toilet. Games like Nightmare troubadour are better.
For one, the monsters have.. Element types?... Sure that makes it easier to win, but it's just... weird. You can't even play more than one trap card, only one can be in play at once, and if it's not used in one turn, it's gone. All the card effects are messed up, so if you play the card game, then consturct your deck in DDS the same way, It's almost Guarenteed to fail. Since when does the Harpie lady sisters say "+2 power for own harpies dragon"?
If your a huge fan of the series, then I would say buy it. Same to if your just starting out. But if your an experienced duelist and have a DS, I say go straight for Nightmare Troubadour, unless you want every game created.
