A Good game, but Harvest Moon 64 is better.

This is a game boy version of the hit game series Harvest Moon, and is good to some extent but lacking in certain things. You can't get married or own animals in this version. Other things are missing as well. If you want a good version of Harvest Moon, buy Harvest Moon 64. It is by far the best game I've ever played. If you have a Playstation and not a 64, a Harvest Moon for the Playstation Game Counsole is coming out soon. If you really want a Game Boy version, a Harvest Moon GBC 2 is coming out soon also, and is supposed to have all the features of Harvest Moon 64. I recommend buying one of these three games, but if you really want the first Game Boy Version, then go ahead and buy it. It won't be as good as the others, but you still won't be dissapointed.

Harvest Moon for the Game Boy started out as a boring game where you just planted seeds and bought stuff at the town. Until after a long time, the game got pretty interesting. I got to own animals, ride the horse, and do things like that. I ignored the game for a while because it was really boring and there was nothing to do, but then I tried it out for a couple of hours and found that it did get quite interesting.

Overall, this game was all right and a good waste of time :op. Harvest Moon did get interesting because of all the new things that happen, but you keep doing the same things over and over again. So, in a way it was interesting and in a way, boring!

I barely play my Gameboy anymore due to lack of games this good. I have played so many hours of this, it's been such a fun thing to do busy on trips and stuff. Anyway, i don't need to review it, it rules. Buy this and the pokemon games (the RPGs, not the other stuff)

"Craving" Harvest Moon

This game is a nice break from games like 007 and Perfect Dark. I like it very much and I'm addicted to the N64 version and I plan on buying this version soon. I've borrowed this game from a friend and didn't want to give it back. It's only flaws are some problems with the tools and having to buy upgrades instead of getting them after a certain number of times of using it. Overall I think this game is perfect and very addictive.

This game is awsome!!! Although at the beggining I did have some trouble. When I started, don't laugh, I thought the weed where plants and I used to water them and everything! That was stupid. After that I learned how to run a succesful farm, I am doing preety good. This game lets you plant seeds, water them, buy cows and chicken, let them have calves and chick (which grow up), milk the cow and get eggs from the chicken. Here are some of the things you do int he farm:

plant seeds
water them
buy cows and chicken
let them have calves and chick (which grow up)
milk the cow and get eggs from the chicken
You can have a horse, which after it's big enough you can ride
You can have a dog or cat
You feed the animals
You plant grass to feed the animal
Once the plants are ready, you pick them and get ca$h

Almot the only bad part would be that you have to do the same thing again every day. One of my friends has this gme and she's been playing it a longer time then me and once her cow was missing and she says she found it ont he roof!!! So maybe you do do the same things every day, but once in a while you might get a suprise!!!

Harvest Moon, it is fun enough to spend hours and hours on. Even though some games of Natsumes were not good I have liked them all. This game is fun and sticks to the nature of Harvest Moon by just allowing you to take care of your animals and crops on a day to day basis. The main objective of this game is to fulfill your grandpa's wish for you to become a Ranch Master. Although you have loads of time to overcome these challenges this game will keep you entertained for hours. I just recently bought this game and I think I have spent a day on the game. Some say this game is one of the worst, but I think it is a great game for it doesn't deal with saving the Harvest Goddess, it doesn't deal with your grandpa just died and he left his farm in the will, it doesn't deal with getting married, it doesn't deal with making friends, but it does deal with the main points of Harvest Moon; harvesting and caring for animals. Although the non-marriage thing is sort of a bummer and the events are sort-of boring the game is very fun. I hope this helps everyone make there choice on this game, for some reviews are not helpful so I bought the game anyways and It was great. If you don't like farming and taking care of animals then this game isn't for you; but if you do this game will be your #1 choice.

I originally bought this game for my son who is 13 and crazy about farming. My daughter decided she wanted to play too. They both like it. I have to admit I am addicted to it too. Lots to do and the character is cute. I would highly recommend it to all.

my brother got this game for N64 I was vary intested in it because it did not have any killing in it. Me being the only girl in my familly (exsept for my mom) I had to learn how to play games that I did not like. So when my brother told me how to work the controls. I began to play and play i got my friends in to it by talking on the phone wile playing the game. soon my sister all but in blood got the game and now all of my friends all love to play. This is such a fun game for any one and can be hard at times but oh so fun

I now would like to see a harvest moon game were you are a GIRL insted of a boy (hint hint wink wink)that would be so fun

you will love it. It is so fun

this is an extremely addictave game!!!!!

This game is extremely addictave and has quite good gameplay. Although people say it is not as good as the harvest moons for the other consoles it is better because you can see it`s better just by looking at all the cases. Harvest Moon lasts as long as you want it to last and when you get the hang of it you`ll soon be a millionare and buy as much stuff as ya like also when you complete the game(which takes ages)you can still play on and earn even more money and grow even more crops!!!!!
