Tiberian Sun is the Best!

Tiberian Sun is one of my favorite games ever. And believe me, I have played a LOT of games. Aww, heck with writing a review. I'll just dive straight to the point.

THIS IS THE BEST COMPUTER GAME YOU WILL EVER PLAY!

Don't even bother with this game. I love Red Alert, but Tiberian Sun has nothing new or original. Go back to playing starcraft or get the new Age of Empires.

Ok we have the new look, now give us the GAME!

I have to admit something, I love the way this game looks! It is spectacular in the graphics sense, but the story just left me out to dry. The orginal command and conquer storyline was way better. The GDI missions are a joke in this game and I have to say it...NOD RULEZ! The NOD missions are very fun to look at and play especially the evil HAL computer that talks to you in the cool voice. The game play units are completely unbalanced! On GDI side, all you have to do is amass a huge army of Tank Mechs and you can destroy any base no matter how fortified it is. On the NOD side, amass a huge army of 30 mobile artillery and nobody can stand in your way. The game is worth buying to see how it looks, but the gameplay is horrible and some of the missions are close to impossible which may frustrate some novice players. Ok Westwood you have provided the interface, now quit slacking and give us a good story!

The Greatest of the C+C Series

I have owned C+C T.S. for some time and I have found how it surpasses all of the other C+C games. First because for a strategy game, the graphics are very good especially if you compare them to the graphics of Red Alert and the first C+C. The sound and music are excellent (I bought the soundtrack because I thought it was so good) I also like the level of challenge and there are no cheats for the game, so you have to use all of your skills. I love all of the units that you can make and all of the buildings you can construct. The skirmish is also a great aspect of the game. The storyline is also very intriguing and the live-action cut scenes are very cool and star some very popular actors.

If you are a fan of the series, this is the one you should be playing!

Years in the making, and we get a pale shadow of games that competitors shipped years before.

Tiberian Sun is a very minor update of Command & Conquer, and while WestWood bootstrapped this genre into glory with the original, this awaited update comes with less than half the class of StarCraft or Total Annihalation.

If you liked Command & Conquer & you want more, look to Blizzard's StarCraft or Cavedog's TA. Westwood's just looking to get another $ from you without attempting to improve the original in anything more than trival ways.

This game is a good one. I play a lot of computer games, but this one takes the cake. Outstanding options and online play against your friends or someone in a real tournament game. The only thing next is to download tiberian sun gold from a certain ex-producer, and the game is perfect.

Just a LITTLE Worth for the LONG Wait

I still remember when I play DuneII, then the original C&C, I fall in love with Westwood Studio's Real Time Strategy ever since. However, Westwood's recent products are all less-than-stellar, including this long-await C&C:Tiberian Sun.

Actually, I was expected more from this game, as Starcraft and Total Annihilation had rised the bar so high for this type of game. That means, if Westwood wants to be back on the top, Tiberian Sun has to be better than that 2 (and a lot more).

It wasn't...First of all, I feel like this is just the enchance version of the original C&C, the graphics are behind its opponents, like TA series, and Ages of Empire II. The maps are still 2D, with isometric view....and sounds are even worst, maybe the worst in the serie so far... And there isn't many strategies in the game either, the old "build more tanks, attack at once with all your tanks." still working fine, the AI is not so good also, as I can often see that most units doesn't notice the sounds of the nasty bomb & laser in some near distance...(It would be OK if there is no sound of battle, since it might be out of the line of sight).

In fact, I shouldn't expect much from this game since I play one of Westwood's lastest RTS, Dune2000, which isn't that good also....

Man this game sucked.

I'll keep it short and sweet. If you are a new fan of RTS games then you will find this game to be a masterpiece and for sure buy it. It will entertain you for months. If you are familiar with the Command & Conquer series, then this game sucks.

This is the best game ever. The first time I played it I was hooked. It has great graphics, fun units, and you can play it on the internet. You won't regret buying it.

Ok so maybe Tiberian Sun isn't the best thing on the market buti have seen alot worse. The graphics are pretty good for the C&C series and the sound is well shall i put it WOW. Maybe you think the game really stinks but the story line is GREAT! The Multi player is so incredible, you hit 2 buttons and you are playin with all your freinds. Skrimish is the best thing you can adjust which kind of play you want easy meduim or hard. The game is so addictive that anyone would play it for hours... Overall the story line is great the graphics can do better but they are still good and the sound is awsome i would give this game 5 stars anyday.
