Good,I think its MUCH better than the PS1 version

Any shooter games that came out on Nintendo 64 were always compared to 007 Goldeneye.
Rainbow Six for the N64,while not as good as the PC version definately kicked the PS1 versions azz in both graphics and gameplay due to the fact that the N64 controller is actually suited to shooter games-same thing with the XBox/XBox 360,i`ve seen many people easily enough adapt from the N64 controller to the XB controller.
Not many people play N64 or PS1 now.

Fun but hard to control

I think many games are hard to control, maybe it is just me. I like this game because of the weapons and that them enemies are easy to kill. THe bad thing about this game is just you need to be supplied just a little more ammo. The graphics are in beetween a super nintendo and a Ps1. I think they could have been much better graphics. I like in the game when you shoot someone you say "bullseye" or something else. Like I said, it is very hard to control, but the enemies are easy. I think this game is more like a swat game than an army game.

Not as good as other reviews say

I understand why most people gave this game a good review, it deserves it, but perhaps the wrong words were used to make this game sound great. I think you should buy it if you own an N64 knowing this first.
First off where way beyond that generation of video games so no graphic delights.
Secondly althought the gameplay and optional strategy take makes for many ways to complete each level, the game is short. 12 missions in 1-3 days depending on how much you play (thats on level Hard)
Thirdly there are alot of other games that you should consider first, like Turok 2 or Golden Eye, (which Rainbow Six does rank lower than)
Fourthly the replay value is not as bad as others would say but its nothing you'll find yourself wanting to redo over and over again. Turok 2 is one of those games.
But don't be shy of this game, one hit kills (for you that is) makes this a realistic game in most parts. If you have an N64 and don't want to spend 50 dollars on the new and hot games, try this one out it is worth the shot.

RainBlow 6...

...This is by far the worst N64 game I have ever played...

Graphics are horrible. Controls are clunky. Sounds are so-so. Dumb map stays onscreen and there is no feature to remove the navigational map which causes distractions. Low replay value, what replay value? I played for about 15 minutes and haven't picked it up since then.

Keep your money and spend it on something else, save yourself from wasting your money and time on this game.

excellently done

The reality for a N64 game astonished me, however the requirement for a memory pak on the controller is the price. This is a game for people with patients and an enjoyment of planning and strategizing... and not being bothered by failure. The Multi-Player feature is a godsend on those harder levels.

This game is the most awesome, most realistic game I have ever played. You are a really there, sneaking around trying to finish your mission without getting any of your men killed. It's best with two players, and you find yourself whispering to your partner during the game. Enjoy the game!

Rainbow Six is an excellent, challangeing game! All the stuff for an espionage game is there. But it lacks one thing that I became fond of in a game like this is a letterbox format for play. But the rest is amazing. A must buy!

This Game was awesome I am a big Fan Of Tom Clancy and his Storys. This game was extremely realistic and I have not seen anything like it. All the weapons and some of the places are all real and thats what makes it so awesome. The story is cool and intresting and even after I beat it I still played the levels over and over again till I tottally mastered it.
