Save the World from Terrorist's!

Rainbow Six is a first person "shoot em' up" game where you save hostages from goverment-destroying terrorists. Unlike 007 Goldeneye, just one shot can end your campaigne if you're not careful. Use verious accesories like heartbeat censors, flashbangs, grenades, and night-vision goggles to save the world from a labratory grown virus. So buy this game, don't kill hostages, and try to keep you're cool. Because the last thing this organization needs is you going A-wall.

This game is a great game, but very difficult. The two player cooperative is a very benificial aspect. The planning stage is very difficult, and must be taken very seriously, make sure you have a controller pack so you can save your mission stragety. If you enjoyed Bond solely for the blood and shoot-em-up style, don't buy this game. This game requires patience and skill. But don't get me wrong, this game is the bomb.

This game is really cool. First off if you don't have an expansion pak you will probably want to get one. It will help the graphics extremely and you'll want it for future games anyways. The graphics are better than Goldeneye if you have an expansion pak. It has a wide variety of playing options. Such as what assault weapon, sidearm, and whether you have grenades, more ammo and much much more in two boxes while planning. You can also chose what uniform to where as well as to how much body armor you wear. Over all this is the action game to get this year. I had trouble finding it but i did and i'm glad i bought it.

When I first played this game a felt I had gone to heaven and back. You start out by picking out 1-4 men from a roster of special opretives. After, you make a kit of a large weapon (machine gun,shotgun...),pistol,and two extra slots. Then you make up 2-4 teams of 1 to 2 opretives.Then you plan,THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART,you're able to make way points and go-codes(example: when you let you're A.I. buddies run in a room and blast all the baddies).Last you execute,this is when you execute the planning, you move in a first person view. For me it took a little while to get used to the conrtols. They're tricky,Turok style controls. If you have a N64 and don't have Rainbow Six, stop reading this and go by the good dang game!

Not Much Challenge-Only 6hrs to finish everything on Elite.

I was extremely disappointed. I expected a more challenging game based on reading all of the reviews. From reading the professional reviews, it became very clear that they were written based on either the instruction booklet (which talked about a lot of neat features that didn't come with the game) or a preview of the game, but not the actual game. I thoroughly enjoyed 007 and would love to see someone create a game in that genre that was better. This is not it.

This one is just too easy even on the most difficult of levels. It only takes 30 minutes per mission to figure out a way to complete it. I completed the entire game on the most difficult level in only six hours. Even use non-use of the gadgets do not affect the game play. Hardly worth $45.00.

I must say that the graphics are good, the concept is good, and even the game play has its good points. Its weaknesses out weigh any strength it may have.

This game was pretty good, but it lacked highly in graphics and lenghth. The graphics are just a step up from duke nukem, which makes the game hard to get into. Also, there are only 12 levels, which really bites. The cooperative duo mode is excellent, but makes the game seem even shorter. A friend and I beat the whole game easily in 4 hours. The good thing is that you can choose your own equiptment and clothing for each mission, which is fun. The game is very realistic as well. Another bad thing is that you can barely hear it when your guns fire, resulting in frequent reloadings, which is annoying. It is a fun game, though, i must admit. Rent it before you buy.

It's not all it's cracked up to be.

This game isn't all that good. It's not much like golden eye at all. And I mean that in a bad way. If you've played mission impossible, you'd know that mission impossible is fun the first time through, but after that it's boring because all those annoying objectives. Well that's how this game is. The reason it's not like golden eye is the main part of the game is the objectives. Like in golden eye there's lots of guys to shoot and it's fun everytime you play it. And because of that rainbow 6 will get boring in a couple weeks. But I definately suggest you rent it once or twice.

Fun game but many cons

The graphics were not very good comparing them witht he PC game. There were only 12 levels and i beat the game on recruit ( easy) in a day. Were as there is 15+ missions in the PC game and there is a sequel to it Rogue Spear and also there is Eagle watch missions. The one thing the N64game has that is better than the PC is the controls. Its an easy game to control and on the PC it takes time to get to know the controls. Its a great game but i advise you to buy it on PC. The graphics are better and gameplay is much slower. I don;t have a graphics accelerator and the graphics are unbeliveable with out it. This game is like goldeneye 007 on N64 and a srategy game in all. The greatest thing they did was you were able to do missions with another player. The one thing Goldeneye lack. i belive this game will become the top game and hopefully Rouge Spear will come out.

hi my is corey age 14 i like this game cause it has a combination of explosive action -n- real life strategy.-u- can play this game on mplayer its free,fun and takes real good strategy.i have all the tom clancy's games rainbow6 eagle watch and all teh redstorm games. plaese dont spend your money on those games like qauk or how avery u spell it its no a game it a person shooting a bunch of things i have the game i have the game for over 4 years i just got rainbow6 about 12-19-99 i have play the game more times then i have on it and quake. thank -u- for reanding my letter

Rainbow Six Is on of the great games for n64 and its just not a first person shooter either. Teamwork and planning are a big part in the game and the co-op feature is awsome also. But this game could have more missions and a 4 player deathmatch session and my major beef with the game is that somethimes it looses sound. but other than that its a fun game
