Greatest game of all time

Seriously. I'm not even going to go into detail about the millions of ways in which this game is awesome. All I am going to say is, I have played all the way through this game at LEAST seven or eight times, and still manage to keep going back and playing through it again and again, while never getting sick of it. Earthbound is an epic win, as far as I'm concerned, and if you haven't played it, you're stupid. Be smart. Buy a copy of this game. Now.

This is the greatest game. Dead serious, since the days of the SNES, video game consoles have come along so far and yet nothing since has ever really topped this game. The same infinte replay value as Super Mario Brothers, Sonic the Hedgehog and Tetris. Every few years I bust out the SNES and Earthbound and nobody sees me for a week or so.

Good game, classic

I found this game very enjoyable. It takes me back to the good old days of retro-RPG's. Good times.

i never played it, but of what the views say it sounds pretty good. i would get it if i had an nes... and about 60 extra dollars to spend on an old game like this. they should just remake it for the GBA. that would be easier for me

I love this game! 100 star rating!

By far the best rpg I have ever played. Instead of a fantasy location, you are in modern day setting, and you go shopping for weapons and healing items at stores and resteraunts.
There's cool zanieness in it too. For instance, in Fourside, there is a meeting of the game desingers, but you can't go in. There are random times a camera guy comes and takes pictures, and sometimes the characters talk to you(the person playing the game.)

It's just so awesome. I so wish they would make it for Gameboy.

This is a classic RPG. If you are a fan of video games, and have not played this game, it is a must. I loved Zelda link to the Past, liked the Final Fantasies, but this game tops them all. I first played it about 10 years ago, and I can still pop it in a play it and love it. BUY THIS GAME!

This game is really fun. It's 2007, around January or February, and I picked up this game. It was in our basement. I had played it before, but I hadn't gotten into it before. So, I just decided to try it again. Once I did, I was easily addicted. I got to the last stage, and I have yet to beat it. It is a great RPG game for someone like me, who has a lot of trouble getting far. It is pretty easy to beat, which is good for someone who isn't an avid gamer. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this game a 9.

I first played this about 9 years ago (2007) on the snes (super nintendo) and i absolutely loved it.

It's an RPG. Instead of swords and magic spells you use yo-yo's and psychic powers.

The gameplay is nothing new.

Music is memorable/awesome.

writing is the best part. its sometimes sarcastic, dry, funny most of the time and it really pulls you into the story

overall this game is in my top 3 games ever! i highly recommend you play it, either buy it, or find it online, do whatever it takes. PLAY THIS GAME

total time to play is about 20-25 hours kinda short, but this is snes rmemeber

I've had this game for about 12 years, and I must say, its as much fun to play now in 2007 as it was when I first got it for free from a friend who was selling all of his snes stuff. I say that because if you want to get Earthbound now, you're going to be forking up almost as much as a brand new game for ps 2, x-box 360, or ps 3, maybe even more. However, this game is well worth it, I've never seen or played anything else much like it. It breaks away from the cliches of an rpg game, and basically follows through normal towns with weird, and at many times funny enemies, such as angry old men, hippies, ants, monsters inside trashcans, and many more. It's a pretty long game, but not too long. It's challenging, and it has something special about it that just makes it replayable, never getting old in the process. If I had to guess, I'd say I've beaten this game around 20-25 times in about 12 years, and it is tons of fun each time I beat it. It's well worth the money, if you have never played it, you must give it a try, it is the snes' best kept secret.
