I played the demo of this available on the marketplace all weekend. I thought it was cool, but deleted it. Then I found myself thinking about it all day and just redownloaded it again even though I have GRAW. I have to say that this game is better than GRAW at least the demo is. The map is as large, but it is more realistic with much more variety. I got so tired of GRAWs maps so quickly--mostly because the strategy is the same on all of them. At least with HALO 2 you could use different strats on different maps.

The ability to use different vehicles including parachuting out of the helicopter is awesome, because as a sniper you can get in some extremely covert places and just
take people out all over the map from one place (i.e. in the demo owning the roof on the 12 story building is crucial for at least 2 "territories" locations and helps with all of them).

I'm not a big fan of the movement while running yet, but it isn't real bad, just more inertia than I'm used to with games like GRAW and Halo.

Also, the graphics at least in the demo are good, better a little than with GRAW. However, from a long way off, you can see that when someone is running, it looks more like they are just scooting along without their legs moving. Although that probably helps with lag, esp when there is 24 players on at a time, it looks pretty stupid.

Last, it says in the description above that 64 people can play a map at once. Not according to the official website. With the PC version, yes 64 can play, but on Xbox Live only 24. still that beats any game to date.

I think I'll buy this one based on the demo.

just to let you ive played this game on pc and orignal xbox and now demo on 360 and this game rocks u gain rank and medals as you progress thru the game 4 snipe shots from single clip without getting killed a medal and so on this game will have uyou up all night just playing and you can communicate with your team to take flags and so on trust this you wont be sorry to get this game.... the graphics are just as good if not better than pc....... see you soon on playing field ..... roadrunner......

This games great except for the fact that its only one player per console. So if your looking to have your buddies over to play a good shooter this isn't the game for you. Still a fun game though.

This game is awesome! The story mode is better than the PC version but it isn't as good as GRAW. The graphics are awesome and much better than the drab graphics of the previous console versions. Enviroments provide the right atmosphere for each mission. Character models look great. One of the best features of this game is on previous consoles , which is the swap with other characters feature which doesn't make the game extremely hard. Using vehicles isn't hard at all, just move the analog stick and there you go. Some missions can be hard, but no matter how hard they are there is definetly a way to get past it, for example the third mission where you are a sniper, you have to snipe every living thing and i'm definetly not the best sniper, so this mission was hard for me but I beat it. This game truly redefines the genre of FPS and is one of the best shooters on Xbox360.

A candid game that I must admit has excellent online play that can equally compete with the grand daddy of FPS's on PC; Counterstrike. It even does a nice job at going head to head with Halo 2 but it still has some things to be desired.

PRO's

+Diverse Campaign mode
+Thrilling Online play
+Easy to learn controls

CON's

-Not many game variants availible online
-Varying load times that can take quite awhile
-Uneven teams constantly
-Daunting maps that give one side the leading edge
-Vehicle controls are clunky
-Air vehicles control difficultly and near impossible to destroy online.

Dude! 4 great armies are in this game, my favorite beeing the greenflagsmen (or I call them Tajakistan)

Anyhoo, this is a beautiful game with a fun combat engine, and it is great for Xbox live too!!!!! There are also like 12 different vehickles in which to kick some Chinese booty!!!! No offense to anyone, i just never choose china because i don't know what their anouncer is saying!
Overall, a great game definitely worth adding to your collection. A KAGILLION times better than Perfect Dark Zero (gamers know what im saying)!!!!

I'm just going to sum up how horrible this game is in a coulple of sentances. Bad campaign,bad guns, and when your on live play you run all of the way across the map before you see someone and you usually get killed. the only thing that is remotly fun about this game are the vehicles. Don't wast your money on this crappy game.

one reviewer stated that this game is a complete waist of money, WRONG. This game is everything but horrible. The graphics are outstanding-bugs are fixed from x box version-gameplay is somewhat a challenge and the controlles are easy to remember- online play is very decent, but can be improved.

But their are some flaws(the planes)
the planes are imposible to drive, unless you play the same stage over and over-planes are hard to distroy unless you have a rpg or tank shell wich still really doesn't help because you miss more than 1/3 of the time. other wise this game is a great shooter, and strategy game. YOU MUST CONSIDER BUYING THIS GAME.

I highly recommend this game to all that love great shooters like halo-1,2, call of duty 2, and counterstrike.

battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a fantastic fps! The AI is decent not the best but it is still good. The graphics well let's just say that i felt the bullet go into me by a sniper. though some levels are very frustrating. The level design is great you really feel like your there. The ranking system is also very rewarding. So you don't feel unrecognized after a mission. There are plenty of vehicles tanks, jeeps, helicopter ect. The multiplayer is great! BattleField 2 Modern Combat is a great military shooter and a must buy for a 360 owner.

One of the better online games available for xbox360

The xbox360 version has much better graphics (than xbox) but game play is pretty much the same. The single player mission is fun, but it's not nearly as exciting as the multiplayer. In fact, I never finished the single player game since I am urged to go play the multiplayer every time. It's incredible how easily it is to become addictive to the multiplayer game. When you play ranked games, your stats are uploaded to the EA server and you get to see how you are doing compared to others. You will earn medals, game points and achievement points based on your performance--a definite motivation to keep playing to see how far you can go up the ranks. I'm also glad that the EA server is much more stable than when it first launched the game. Yes, occasionally, the EA server hangs up.
This game deserves 4 stars instead of 5 because there need to be more multiplayer maps. There are 16 so far, but you will find that people continue to constantly play only 2 maps --Bridge Too Far and Backstab. I guess you can create your own game with a less played map. Also, it's very hard to get together for Clan matches going.
