Battlefield 2 Modern Combat

I bought this game the other day and really wanted to take it online. But when I went to the online protion of the game my xbox couldn't connect to the EA servers. Since the game offers no split screen multiplayer at all it will be collecting dust while I play other games that actually work online. The single player is okay. Many times you end of dying after about a minute. Seeing as how the multiplayer is half of this game I give it a 2/5

This game was a big mistake, dont waste your time with this crap, the graphics are filth and its so difficult almost impossible to beat cause the AI is foolish, and all the stages look the same....like cluttered garbage..

Believe i am speaking for older single player gamers[slow reflexes]---love to continue gaming but very, very discouraged by current practice of no or very little aid for we single player old guys in the form of cheats, detailed FAQs,and other means to allow gamers who want to continue to play through the game but cannot due to lack of reflex skill at a certain point or mission.I go back to Commodore 64 games and i don't want to quit buying war games PC and Xbox 360. They give me tremendous enjoyment in my retirement as my greatest form of entertainment.A skip level that games used to have would be great.senior citizen[80]Jim

Fun...At The "Used" Price

This game can sedate the bloodlust and battle-envy of most gamers, but only if purchased at the used price. Paying full price, gamers will feel let down with the lack of story, plot, or anything coherent. The gameplay itself is fun, but somewhat a little repetitive. I am not saying this is a bad game, there are just better games in the same genre that are currently on the market.

This game is really cool online. The single player function isn't really that great but does pass the time. Online however, will provide for hours and hours of great gaming. Imagine driving a jeep with a buddy of yours on the back, using the .50 caliber machine gun and instructing you where the next enemy is!! All while communicating through the xbox headset. So cool!
Tanks, Choppers, and even snowmobiles.....control everything and blow it all up at the same time!! wooooo hooo!

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

If you enjoy well defined First Person Shooters, and like using more modern weapons as opposed to fighting, oh say, WWII battles, BF2: MC is good for you! I'm not going to say much, as there's probably already a lot said, but I have to say, this gmae is great! I rated the fun level 4 stars out of 5, because firstly, the Single Player could definately be better, and second, after a while, it may become boring, until you figure out something new to do (ie: specializing in a new kit). But the graphics, at least for the 360, are phenomenal for its time, and the Xbox Live multiplayer experience is extremely well done. There, at the time of this review, 5/15/07, are still many, many people who play this game online, and I must say, the rank system definately ties you into the game and urges you to play more so you can show off to your friends. The clan support is great as well, allowing even the newest of players to create a clan if they wish. Personally, I'd give the SP in this game a 3 out of 5, and the multiplayer a 5 out of 5, leading to my 4 out of 5 funness level, but the game overall is 5 out of 5 either way. Good job, EA!

hella fun!

Best game eva, multiplayer iz non-stop action but tha EA servers r horrible, I get kicked out tha game alot, or sometimes It won't let me connect to tha game for 10mins or longer, but its still tight, The campaign iz hard as hell, I dont even bother playin it much, but my 14yr old nephew finsihed tha Xbox version but tha 360 version iz out this world crazy hard!

Good but could be a lot better.

The story line in this one is a good length and can take a bit of time to get all the achievements in the levels and so on. I like how you get rank for doing the levels right and making all the objectives as well as keeping your men going.

I like how you can switch between the members of you team in the game play so you can do different thing and have access to different weapons and so on.

The online play is pretty cool but as with any game you have those that just play it a little too much and get rather upset if you don't do things there way. That's when a well placed grenade tends to work just right.

I don't like the multiplayer setup as you can't choose the maps you want to play on and such like other games and it seems people just keep wanting the same stupid maps all the time. I like to switch it up but a lot of people don't think that's a good thing. They learn one map and then do that same map over and over again! Gets rather rediculous!

The online play could have been setup a heck of a lot better IMO.
