Great first game

This is the first game purchased for my 7 year old and it is a big hit. The main game is full of challenge and surprises. The mini games are varied and great fun and she especially loves the ability to play some of these classics with other kids using her single card download play.

IT'S-A ME AND I'M-A BRAND NEW-A AGAIN!

EVERYBODY THINKS THIS JUST THE OLD MARIO FOR N.E.S. WITH ONE CHANGE...HIGH QUALITY GRAPHICS. WELL, IT'S NOT! IT'S A REMIX AND A MIXED UP VERSION OF THE FOLLOWING GAMES: S.M.B.1,S.M.B.2,S.M.B.3,S.M.W,AND A FEW OTHERS. GET THE ADDED TWIST OF BOWSER JR. FINALLY MAKING HIS LONG AWAITED RETURN IN THE SERIES AND FACE COMPLETLY NEW ENEMIES LIKE: MUMMY POKEYS,THUNDA-FIED LAKITUS,HUGE GOOMBAS AND MANY OTHERS. IN MINI-GAME MODE PLAY REMIX VERSIONS OF THE MINI-GAMES FROM MARIO 64 DS AND BRAND NEW ONES! ALSO THERE'S MULTIPLAYER MODE WHERE YOU CAN FIGHT A FRIEND TO GET THE MOST STARS MUCH LIKE MARIO 64 DS JUST A 2-D VERSION,OR PLAY THE NOT SO COOL MULTI-PLAYER MINI-GAMES. GOOD-LUCK WITH THE GAME!

Out of all the games my seven year old got this Christmas, this is the one he plays all the time. I guess that merits five stars!

Any fan of Super Mario Brothers will love this game. It's much like the classic you already love with new age graphics and options. The minigames are a nice bonus, although some of them are boring, or just too hard to be fun. Overall, this is a fun game coming from a grownup who learned to love SMB in it's original forms.

This version is so much like the old nintendo version I always used to play as a kid. In my house we all have our own DS's so our favorite part of this game is mario vs. luigi where you can play against someone else on their DS. It is sooooo much fun!! I highly recommend this one. I just wish I could finally get through level 5. lol.

Mario games have been around for years, but you know, none of them can compete with the original side-scroller adventure games that focused on moving forward, collecting coins and powerups, and no confusion whatsoever compared to these big, lengthy 3D environments that todays Mario games have. Nintendo used to make Mario games so exciting and focused each one on quality back on the NES and Super NES days. Oh how I long for those creative days when the sky was the limit with advancing technology and creativity.

This game does a good job reminding us of the past games such as Super Mario World, but honestly, it can't compete with those old NES and Super NES games which will be classics forever because, back then, they were brand new adventure-type games in a world of video gaming that didn't have anything quite like it at the time. This game, while good, is just "another Mario game".

I GOT THIS GAME 2 YEARS AGO AND IT IS JUST AS GOOD AS SUPER MARIO BROS.
MAYBE EVEN BETTER. I STILL LOVE THIS GAME AFTER 2 YEARS
