This is a great game. It is cool to watch the monsters fight in 3D. I beleive that when it comes to the fun factor and graphics this is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! game out there. (At least until the PS2 game comes out in Feb.) But if you are used the the real card game, you may not like this game. You don't need to sacrifice any monsters when you play a more powerful monster. There are NO effect monsters in the game whatsoever. For example Time Wizard is just a plain monster, no effect. Many magic and equip cards don't work they way they are supposed to. Metalmorph will only work on monsters that are transformed into new monsters because of the card, any other monster it has no effect whatsoever. Another downfall is the fact that you have to save up starchips to enter passwords for your cards. I use a gameshark to have unlimited starchips so I can enter my real card passwords. I know I have painted a bad picture, but this game is really great, hence the 5 star rating, if you don't mind bending the rules you know, it is a lot of fun. If you are new to dueling this will be great, but don't expect the real game to be like this. If you want to play a video game version that is more like the real game get Eternal Duelist Soul fot Gameboy Advanced or even Dark Duelist Soul for Gameboy Color, even though it has some differences from the real game too.
Oh and for those that think Yu-Gi-Oh is just a kids game, guess again I am 25 and love it! It is far better than Magic the Gathering.
blah blah blah blah blah

An outstanding game second best yu-gi-oh game, lost to worldwide edition stairway to the destined duel ,there are many different cards to customise your deck . only one problem, the cost for cards on the game is so annoying i mean 9999999 starchips for a blue-eyes ,red-eyes and even that for a baby dragon and time wizard and the maximum starchips you can win in 1 battle is 5. so appart from that an outstanding game
yugioh was an ok

I think that the game was to hard without a game shark if I didn't have one I would have chucked it out the window. because when you win you get a small amount of starchips. and the guys you beat give you teribble cards.
this game sucks

This game starts out in ancient egypt were your a young pharoah. you have friend who are like ancient versions of yugis friends. you battle an ancient kaiba named seto. at the end of the ancient time period you duel an ancient mage who is extremely powerful duelist. he has sweet cards but skrew that your not ment to win anyway. The young pharoah gets stuck in his millenium puzzle POOF! suddenly ur yugi. you enter a tourney as yugi. in the tourney u face the kid with bug monsters(first person in the duelist kingdom yugi faces) then Rex Raptor, then mai then bandit kieth then pegasus thats as far as i got then i restarted. in free duel u ern starchips to get cards how u ask? ? ? ? well u ½ brainers its ur luky dAY. go to password on the screen. 2.type in the code at the bottom left corner of your cards(the reel 1s)type it in. for example 15025844 i mystical elf. cards like bluey eyes are 999999 starchips cost thats way hard 2 get.
oderwise its cool
yours not so truly
