I used to be addicted to this game (not really, just like a figure of speech) but really I played it almost everyday. You create a person and a town, that person tries to catch all the fish, bugs, collect all the fossils, get all the fruit, get all the house furniture, make their house as large as possible as well as all the shops and search for the special characters and be the best they can be for the citizens of their town! Oh yeah and keep the town clean and free of weeds. Did I mention getting all clothes and wigs and such?? It's pretty fun and isn't as confusing as it sounds. It's actually one of the easiest games. Though it looks sort of childish don't let that stop you, I'm older and play it!
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Animal Crossing, a Nintendo Ds game, is very fun. I like visiting and writing letters to other people in this game. I also enjoy designing clothes at the Able Sisters. Another fun activity is decorating and furnishing my house after a shopping trip to Nook's store. In summary this video game is great.
Besides all of the great activities, this game has a few drawbacks. I have a mortgage payment on my house and, I can't wirelessly link to another player with only one game cartridge. However these drawbacks are minor irritations and don't prevent me from playing this game frequently.
My daughter loves this game!

I purchased this game for my 9-year-old daughter and she really loves it. She likes when new neighbors come to her neighborhood. She likes to go to Brewster's and get coffee and then go to Able Sister's and design her own clothes. She found Phyllis to be rude; she's at the post office. Pelly is very nice, though.
With this game you make money by catching fish and selling them, shaking the trees and picking up the fruit, and picking up sea shells. You can also catch butterflies with a net and donate them to the museum as well as digging up fossils. You also can write letters to your neighbors and send them presents.
I would recommend this game.

Animal crossing wild world is definitely a game worth buying. Of course it's not for everyone. If you only like action games, you may not want to buy it. But if you're into talking to townsfolk, and very simple concepts (fishing, catching bugs, gardening, etc.) then definitely buy it. It sounds a bit boring, but it's actually really intriguing and fun!
You begin the game in a taxi cab, driven by a frog named Kapp'n. He will ask you a few questions that will determine what you look like, where your house is, and so on. You will be instructed to visit Pelly in Town Hall. She'll tell you to go see Tom Nook, the man who you owe money to for your house. He'll tell you that you owe him 19,800 bells (the ACWW currency) for your - first - mortgage. You'll work for him doing simple tasks for the first 1,400 bells, and then you're on your own to pay him off.
You can pay off your mortgage little by little, so it's nothing to worry about. If you want to buy that modern couch, go ahead, because Nook will wait forever. However, if you are into a bigger home, then it would be best to end up paying your mortgage.
Other than that, there is no real goal in the game. That is, you set your own. If you want to have the best garden and win the Flower Fest, go for it! Or maybe you want to try and catch every fish or bug out there. You can even send letters - even mean ones - to neighbors in town, or talk to them. Occassionally, they'll even ask you to come up with new things for them to say. It is up to you how you spend your time.
One of the best things on ACWW is the events that go on. They happen in real time, just like the game. So on New Year's Eve, you can turn on your game and join in the count down. My personal favorites are Bright Lights (February) and La-di-day! There is even a flea market to let you buy others' furniture!
Not to mention the best part. Use ds to ds or nintendo wifi to connect with other REAL people in the game. Discover fun games and such!
This is definitely a game worth buying, as there is SO MUCH MORE I could talk about. You probably won't tire of the game, and it is DEFINITELY worth the money. Try sites like Animal Crossing Community and Animal Xing for more info!
Fun! addictive!

Animal Crossing wild world, a.k.a. ACWW, is a game which operates in real time, real time being the time that you set your nintendo ds to when you first set it up. it's a good game that consists of doing simple tasks for your animal neighbors and by doing this, getting gifts or money that you can use to decorte your house or pay off your incredibly expensive mortgage to Tom Nook, but this isn't a problem because Nook will buy anything that you can give him, from a simple fruit to a seashell, you can sell anything to amount to your mortgage.
Your neighbors are an interesting bunch of animals, all with their own personalities and catch-phrases, and you'll enjoy hearing all the crazy stuff they have to say. Which I must say, is a lot, I've played this game for over a year now and I'm still surprised at some of the things they say, which means that these nintendo people are very creative and took a long, long time to write out their 'scripts'.
A very exciting and cool feature of ACWW is the Wi-Fi connection, which enables you to share your game with your friends and talk in real time. This adds a whole 'nother level of enjoyment of this game.
This is truly a game that you play when you are in a good mood and just want to relax, there are no 'levels' to beat, no real tasks to achieve, just good old-fashioned fun with real or animated friends. I promise you that if you are the type of person that enjoys a good sunny day, you will enjoy playing this game. But don't worry, it rains here too.
