After having Animal Crossing for Nintendo Game Cube, this version for Nintendo DS is far better. Many enhancements are in place. Some of the aggrevations that are in the GC version are no longer an issue. Fun game.

When you first start, you get into a cab and you have a driver named Kapp'n. He is a little frog. And he asks your name, and that is when you make up the character. He let's you out and your adventure in your town begins...

This is a awesome game, my Aunt got it for me for Christmas.My cousin who is eleven got it for Christmas too.We play it together whenever I visit.When you first start and turn it on you will be in a cab,you can make up a name for your town, like I named my town DogCat.You get to pick your person's name,you will arrive in town.Tom Nook will give you a job so you can get money,money is called bells.Other people live in your town, sometimes they move away but new people will move in. You can have four people living in your house. This a awesome game and I love it.

Good game but the people move away all the time if the town gets to large so it is hard to keep friends.

While, i've never even played this game before, it sounds interesting. I went to Toys-R-Us to purchase the game but unfortunately, they were out of stock. I'm hoping they will refill soon because I'm so anxious to play. I'm not really a video games person but these kind of games sound intriguing. I own a nintendo ds and I also have the nintendogs game. I want mario kart(don't know why, I am a girly kind of girl), and also Animal Crossing. Bye!

Ok first of all, those of you who really really want this game(i'm one of you), well dont even bother going to any store at all for a few weeks. I have gone to every video game store in my city and even some surrounding cities and have seen the same thing over and over again--empty shelves where Animal Crossing once was. You see, I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas this year and ACWW was the first game that came to my mind. I really want this game badly, but i will have to wait, because it wont hit the stores again till late January. But if you are like me and have a DS anyway, get Super Mario 64 DS, it is a really good game. It should keep me occupied until ACWW comes out.

I don't own it but i will, but this game is a must have for anyone who has the gc version (or played it and liked it :) )

This animal crossing is by far one of the best games for the DS I own (next to mario Kart and Mario & Luigi 2.
If you ever get bored in game i would suggest setting the time to summer and try catching fish or bugs, fishing in my openion is one of the best things to do to make money or just to have fun. Four of the new fish are actually shark you can catch and its cool of the animation the put for them while they are swimming, all you see is a huge fish with a fin at the top like what you'd see when a shark is chasing you (I don't think many people would like to see that).

Anyways the game, yes there are no holidays like christmas or halloween, it's so the game is "universal" so people in say, Romania play it don't get offended by it.

Wi-Fi play is awsome in this, though you have to have a friend who owns AC and has a router for him/her to get online to play with you, its ok.

The used game prices on here are WAY too high, pay $30 just for AC, wait for stores to restock just wait till about the first week of January, your not goning to miss anything.

Overall, game is awsome just some dull times in it.

i cant wait till x-mas im asking for this and a ds this looks so cool i have the first one but that one gets boring aftar a while....but it was still fun i got it the year it came out(X-mas it came out) it was soo fun and in this one you dont get droped off by a train you get dropped of by a cab and the driver is a caractar from ac(k'appin) i wonder if he makes you pay too ride in his cabO_o

This version is better than the Game Cube one. It is a very replayable game. I have not used the multiplayer option, but hope to in the future.
