Since there are no other lacrosse video games, I was really looking forward to this game. Since I play indoor lacrosse, I was hoping it would capture some of the art and excitement of the game. Instead, Acclaim produces a game that can best be described as "WWF Meets the NLL." The graphics are so poor you sometimes can't distiguish between teams. The game play is hard to follow. There are NO penalties or even rules for that matter! In addition, the commentary from Farell is outright degrading. "C'mon! Kick him! Kick him in the head!", has no place in lacrosse. I'm glad that Acclaim developed a lacrosse game but they totally missed their mark. They should create a game that is closer to NHL 2001 in style and play. It should also be PC based and targeted to older and intelligent demographics. Buy it to send a message that lacrosse games are worth creating but for no other reason.

This game is great! The only downfall is the graphics. If anyone who works for EA sports is reading this, please propose a REAL lacrosse game with the graphics of Madden 2001 for PS2. No offense to arcade games! GET THIS GAME if you do not mind bad graphics.

I have played lacrosse for 5 years and have desperately been wanting a lacroose game. when I finally found this my prayes were answered. This game is undoubtedly fun even though hit is not pretty or a sim. I like the blitz or hitz feel of the game and enjoy leveling an attack who dares to enter my crease. If you like lacrosse and fast paced crazy action you will love this game as I do.

I bought this game today and I must say this is the BEST game ever! Thank you Akklaim for FINALLY hooking us all up with a LAX game. This game is amazing! I wish I could give it more stars!

Because this is the first lacrosse game for playstation it is good. The reality of the situation is that the game needsa a lot of work. One there is no game stats. Two when you play a season, there is no season stats. and three when you play the other teams they do not let you know who is on that team and who has the ball. also it is very easy to check someone off the ball. The good of the game is it has a great announcer, and it is still a lacrosse game.

Yo this game could be off the chain with all the new gamin technology out. Put some cats on the Blast 2 project for PS2 and you'd have a top-selling game. Lax is growing in the US and the people with Playstation should take advantage of it. Also, they should put more research into the game cause they left out some really important parts of the game, like dodging. This game could have a lot of potential.

Dear Guy in Philly who is to scared to leave his name, I mean no harm when I say I will enjoy beating the wings with the bandits!! I fear you take Computer games WAY to serious. My suggestion to you my lonely friend, is to get of the computer and meet some people in the real world. Perhaps you may be so lucky as to meet a real life lacrosse player! Such as myself. i waited forever for a lacrosse game on the playstation. so when it came out, you better believe i got it. i opened it and played it right away. it has all 9 nll teams and not the full rosters, but close enough. the graphics are cool and the game speed is quick. the checking is VERY fake and unrealistic, that's really the only downfall. i recomend this to anyone really into the game of lacrosse and to any hardcore fans. new fans to the game--this is not real lacrosse.
