Rollercoaster Tycoon is an excellent game. I love it. I've had it for three years and I still have fun every time I play it. This game has so many possibilities, the fun never ends. The idea of the game, which is pretty obvious, is to create the greatest amusement park ever. And this game makes it simple. There are so many parts to this game, like researching rides, building coasters, hiring employees, and running ad campaigns. Everything is so easy to do, so you never get frustrated like in Sim City or Sim Theme Park. This game is family friendly, a perfect game for anyone over 8 years old. And as an added bonus, RCT is educational, too! You learn all about finance, engineering, and keeping people happy. All you need to play this game is time and creativity! You're gonna love it!!!

RollerCoaster Tycoon could be one of the greatest games ever invented. Who here HASN'T wanted to build their own roller coasters and theme parks? No matter what age you are, no matter if you're a boy or girl: get this game. It's probably one of the best sim games I've ever played. I've heard of other "Tycoon" games, but I don't think any of them could ever live up to this one.

Roller Coater Tycoon is by far one of the best simulator PC game I have ever played. This game is what it sounds like...You build a theme park. There are many different environments to choose from(you get more environments as you beat more levels. The graphics in this game aren't jaw dropping but they are okay. But this game isn't about graphics, it's about freedom. It's very challenging to get your guests to actually like your park:)

This is a great PC game and is highly reccomended.

Very time consuming! Love the game though. My family, brother, mother, all our kids ect. love playing this game, even for it having been released so long ago.

this game is the best but then roller coaster tycoon 2 is coming out iadn it will be much better. but if you cant buy it you still can use these one. then there are ways to make wana be buildings. u just raise the land but in a speacial way. that way you can make buildings like i made a thing that kinda looks like a castle.
but i wont be using this game anymore beacause im getting roller coaster tycoon 2 i allready reserved it.

This is a awsome game!! Way better than hyper rails and other rollar coaster games! A must have! If you like designing and rollar coasters you will love this game and you will also love the expansion packs!

When we got this I didn't think I would like since Fast Food Tycoon was so awful but i love it. I can play it for hours. It is easy to get the hang of too. My 5 year old nephew gets the concept and my 11 year old brother is addicted.

RCT is a great game for people who like to create things. In this game, you create an amusment park and you can build your own rides, including rollercoasters! Everytime you beat the objective, you get to try and invent another park in a different setting. I wouldn't recommed this game for gamers under 8 years.

RCT is the best game I ever played. The game is very addictive, and before long you will want the expansions
and RCT2. You can dou just about everything,including hiring staff, advertising, and building shops, rides, and scenery.

Wanna feel powerful? Well play Roller Coaster Tycoon and you are powerful enough to control your own theme park and the people in it. From security to people dressed in animal suits. From popcorn shops to the huge roller coasters. This is an exciting game for just the first version. No blood, weapons, or foul language. All you see is puke, broken benches and trash. Perfect for any kid who knows how to use a computer. I recommend this as a perfect gift for children 10 or under. Also, make sure your computer isn't too slow or it will make the game choppy. Hope you have as much as fun as I do.
WARNING: very addicting, prepare to spend hours at a time playing this game.
