This is THE best game for computers in the entire world. I spend hours a day playing this and trying to build the ultimate amusement park. Once you get the add-ons - Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes, the fun really begins. So, Go. Buy. Now.

This game is alot of fun! It doesn't get boring that fast. I find it easy to play. It wasn't a waste of money. I think it's alot more fun with Loopy Landscapes and Corkscrew Follies. Some ride are a little hard to build, but other than that it's so much fun.

Roller coaster tycoon is a fun game. If you want a good simulation game, get roller coaster tycoon. It is better than any Sim City game I have played, and easier to beat. Different levels adds a twist to this game. Unless you get stuck on a level, you won't find yourself board.

I've been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon ever since December 1999! Now it's March 2001! That goes to show that Rollercoaster Tycoon has an unlimited supply of fun at your fingertips. Unlike other Theme Park games, you can customize almost any ride you can dream of! Excellent game! Buy the expansion pack also!

crazy wakcy rides into a game = FUN

this game is fun REAL FUN. at first you will need to find out all the controles...(that is not very hard and they are easy to remeber) all the rides are real fun to put into your park. when about 3 months of playing the game you will quit playing it. but then sometime about 1 year later you will feel likeing playing that game for no particular reason. then you will probably feel like putting your names of your rides as PUKE YOUR LUNG OUTS or something like that. WARNING: i think this makes you visitors throw up more...... anyways the game is real nice and fun. you will like the selecttion of rides there are. and you will stick to the game for quite awhile.then you will leave your old companion and go on your seperate paths one of you will go on a dusty old shelf (probably the game inless you are messed up and have mental problems and have been arested 7 times for insanic mass murder of 3 families and a school shooting) and you will probably go to on the other path to a opening of more games to play and buy.

Audio

The game is wonderful, my grandchildren love it, but when they installed it in my computer,a Compaq 2100 series, it knocked out my audio. I no longer have sound. Has anyone else had this problem? I have worked with technicians over the phone, and so far, no luck with the sound.

Sheer unadulterated fun

I'm no rollercoaster fan, but even I got a sense of hairraising fun when I built my first coaster and heard the car moving on the tracks and the screams of the riders. The game really brings the sense of joy in an amusement park to the PC.

The interface is generally slick, and there are two things that keep this from being five stars: the rollercoaster design interface is a bit clunky, and it would be nice if the game started with an "open scenario" or scenario editor, instead of the scenarios packaged in the game

This game is so intricate that the most simplistic things can and will take affect on your theme park. It allows extreme room for creativity, but is very time consuming initially, and will only get gradually worse as time goes by. I expect therapy groups to be formed in the near future to help those trying to wean themselves off this game.

This game fun sometimes,but is can also be really anoying. I hate the roller coaster design thing because it is hard to use. I hate when I have built the world best roller coaster only to find I can't connect the last piece of track. Overall this is an OK game.
