One of the Best Games I've Ever Played!

This is an absolutely incredible game! I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first when I got the game as a gift, but after loading the game I found it to be very addictive. I've played both the original SimCity and SimCity 2000. If you even moderately enjoy those games, you will LOVE Roller Coaster Tycoon. The amount of control and information you have over the park and the guests is absolutely amazing. I can't believe how realistic the game is. I thought that I would make the most intense roller coaster when I was playing, but I quickly realized that most customers want fun, not extreme death defying rides. So I had to tone down many of my rollar coasters. This is one of those games that is difficult to describe if you haven't seen it. Overall, though, it's an incredible game and I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The bottom line: If you enjoy SimCity, Roller Coaster tycoon is an absolute MUST buy!

This is a good game and my 11 year old son loves to play it. This game can be installed on a PC running Windows XP Home Edition and will run fine but you can get better performance if you use the Windows Compatibility Wizard.

THIS GAME IS SO FUN. AS SOON AS I GOT IT I WAS HOOKED ON IT. YOU CAN BUILD ROLLAR COASTERS, MAKE FOOD STANDS, GIFT SHOPS AND PLACE REST STOPS TO MAKE YOUR COSTOMERS HAPPY. IT IS REALLY FUN AND I SUGGGEST IT FOR KIDS 7 AND UP. THE BEST PART IT THAT IT HAS NO VILENCE OR FOUL LAUNGUAGE, SO IT IS SUITABLE FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN

This game has it's ups and it has it's downs.

UPS: It is so much fun. Me and my brother play it all the time. I just bought the Loopy Landscape 1 and it has a whole new twist 2 it. It has a park where you have unlimited cash. If you haven't bought this game, you r crazy!

DOWNS: It takes 2 long for the people to create the rides. In the unlimited cash 1, my guest will get all mad because i have boring rides and i'm like "Just hold on while people make better rides you little ...!

Besides all of that, this game is good. You should buy it.

Without a doubt,this is the best computer game you will ever buy.Don't hesitate to buy it,and yes it's worth way more than the Sims(not in money).The player runs his or her own theme park.Choose a location from the list at the beginning of the game,there are also heaps more locations to...as Nintendo would put it..unlock,as you reach your objectives.Build everything from icecream stores to merry go rounds to rollercoasters.It is a really cute game,watch your guests eat,race go carts and hit golf balls.You may also hire entertianers,like giant pandas and decorate your rides with vibrant colour!Loopy Landscape is a valuable extension to the game,adding more rides,locations(way more!!),coloirs,entertainers,well more everything!!Whoever made this game is really clever and there is great attention to detail.This is a game addictive to people of ALL ages.

This is the kind of game that you finish, leave on the shelf, come back a couple of months later and still sticks you to your computer. One of the best features is that the level of difficulty in the game improves in each scenario in a way that you won't notice when you turn into a rollercoaster expert. The game has excellent features like the vomiting visitors, merry-go-round that goes crazy,bladder-happy costumers, and the most awesome assortment of rollercoasters at the disposal of your creativity. It also has a great investigation-money management feature (Should I get a gentle ride for calming my queasy visitors or should I get a food stand that gets me more money for less investing?). If you have the money, buy it. And if you don't have the money I promise you that it will pay itself for your lack of apetite while playing these game.

The only complaint that I have about this game is that it's too addicting. I couldn't stop until I had completed all of the scenarios and beaten the whole game, but then the Expansion Pak (Loopy Landscapes) came along... I'll guarantee that if you like other Sim games that you'll like this one. It's very hard to get tired of-- you can make your own Roller Coasters (with as man loop-dee-loops as you want), add Cotton Candy stalls, Merry-Go-Rounds, Water Slides, hire Staff, and do virtually anything you want. It's fun to watch the Sim people come into your park and go from ride to ride, spending all their money along the way. If you end up liking this game as much as I do you'll probably want to get the Loopy Landscapes Expansion pack as well. This game is almost flawless, Two Thumbs Up!

i love this game! the people are so realistic! and the rides! let me give you a few tips. #1: when building intense rides, build baby rides around them to get people bored and in the mood for a thrill! #2: get the deluex game or the single expansion pack for extra fun with the vertcal drop coaster, corrckscrew rollercoaster,alot of other rides, and the over 70 new parks! #3: remeber to build lots of good and reqierd things or your customers will get this hidiouse red face! thats it!
