this game is lots of fun. i reccomend it to kids who love to figure out how to put something together. this game is loaded with education on how to spend your money wisely and how to construct things. it is a fun learning game.

This is my husband's favorite game. I can't get him to stop playing it. We have all the expansion packs! It's amazing what you can create with this.

It is usually hard to find good games for cheap prices. This is such a good game because you can build unbelieveable Roller coasters, see what your customers are thinking, and make a very sucessful theme park. I recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy. The only thing is that the graphics aren't really great. There pretty good but they could have been better. Have Fun!

This is a pretty cool game. The graphics are great and I think the programmers programmed it superior. You can build snack shops,water,rollercoaters,paths, and can raise or lower the land. Snow Resort tycoon probably is better but that's okay. Although it's addicting and time-consuming,this is still wonderful. Of all the other tycoon games this is the most popular. If one has time, they should buy it.

This game has so much going for it. It is fun and challenges the mind. It is great for teaching problem solving skills. The one thing that we wish we would have know about the game is that the people in this game can die from a rollercoaster accident. Our child loved playing this game for over a month until one day she was playing and one of the rollercoasters crashed and killed several people. I know most people probably don't care about this but for all of you parents who do not want your children desensitized by such things please beware. This was extemely upsetting to our child. Had we known that this game contained this element we probably would not have purchased this game.

I think anyone who enjoys simulation games should buy this game. I love building new parks and seeing people enjoying them. Be careful how you build your roller coaster. If you are a sensitive person, be very careful to complete your coaster before you open it or people may end up dying on your ride! In this game you can construct roller coasters or waterslides, or simply just have one prebuilt for you. When you build the ride, you can check excitement ratings and even nausea ratings! There are also other things that you can put into your amusement park like merry go rounds, info centers, and consession stands. Here are some tips:

1. Always build an info center and a bathroom right by the entrance. 2. Make your entrance fee $40 and make all your rides 10 cents. You will end up with a ton of money. 3. If you test a roller coaster and it crashes on the test, delete that roller coaster or you will not get ANY customers for that ride. 4. Don't hire mechanics. They just walk around like lazy bums. 5. If you own sim coaster, throw it in the fire. I bet you one billion dollars that you will not regret it!

The word Addictive is an *understatement*...

I was reading some other reveiws and I noticed --pete from texas-- wrote "If you enjoyed games such as SimCity, Age of Empires and Civilization I would recommend this game because it follows a similiar strategy and planning mechanism"...

and I agree, he's right!

This game is *entirely* about strategy. I also notice a few people here and there giving the game bad reveiws...it's because the game is challenging, it *truly* is.

When I *first* played it, ugh, it too irritated me at times...but once you find *your* strategy and whats best for you , the game is well worth the investment.

I haven't yet purchased any of the expansion packs yet, but I most certainly will, but as of right now, I'm still attempting to beat the scenarios given.

This game *does* take time to learn, what's what, what makes who happy, and how.

But it's *Great* fun. and as I said...the word Addictive is an understatement. :)

A few tips:

**right click the trees to remove them ; )

**have lots of "handymen" **start your park addmission off super *cheap* like a dollar. and your guests will comment on how you should raise your prices, then ya just raise them a little at a time :)meanwhile--still charge for rides and such.

It's easy to play-you can build in an already-made park or build on empty land. Be sure to test-drive your rides, because I've built some that have accidentally killed people. Realistic playing and other features-you can even loop rides together to scare the... out of the park visitors.

This game is great. I've played it a million times over. It's much better than some of those other simcity games. I'll be looking foward to another expansion pack to this game.

This game is fun...but takes ALOT of time to beat a level! In alot of the levels you have to play for AT LEAST 3 hours to beat it, even if ur fulfilling all the requirements of the level!
