Roller Coaster Tycoon

This game is very fun. You get to build your own theme parks and even your own rides! You can advertise your park, decorate it with scenery and theming objects, build food stalls, build lakes and ponds, miniature railroads, haunted houses, and alot more. This game also has 2 expansion packs. If you want both,(Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes), only buy Loopy Landscapes because Corkscrew Follies is included in it. I also think that they are coming out with another expansion set in June 2002. This game is great!!!!

This is a good game except say you wanna build a dream roller coaster that costs lots of money and you finally get it dont thinking you will get a lot of money from this baby. Then your stupid vistors puke on the ride making everyone say "That ride looks too intense for me." That just makes you wanna scream at the computer and make those little people fly off the screen. It is a challenging game though. That's why they do that. It actually was my faborite game for a while but then I just got bored of it. It is fun for a while but then it will eventually turn into the worst game you have. The scenarios are good. And the wide variety keeps you hooked.

Excellent game, *but*...

It does not work well on Windows NT. It crashes now and again, and the houses won't get roofs, for example. (I know they say it is for Windows 95 and 98, but still, I'm just warning you.)

Great Fun From Atari Games!

In what other game can you build a 10 mile go kart track, hire security guards, and clean up puke?

Roller Coaster Tycoon an extremely fun amusement park simulator. You can design your own parks and rides, set your prices, and attend to your guests needs.

This game is appealing to children and to adults, particularly because things can get pretty complicated. This game will teach you manage many things at once quickly!

The disasters that strike are awesome, and the graphics are good, 2-d or not. I recommend this game to anyone. It may get a little tedious in expert levels, but it's a blast to play.

GREATEST PC GAME EVER!!!

I thought this was the best PC game ever, until I got Loopy Landscapes and Corkscrew Follies. Then I thought it was twice as good as the first. Everything is a pro, except it is so addicting. I played like 12 hours straight. Great for almost anyone!!! Build coasters, thrill rides, water rides, food stands and a lot more. The expansion packs are basicaly the same, just more rides, scenery, and tons of new levels. I reccomend getting RCT Deluxe, it also has three "Real" Parks, which are awesome prebuilt super parks. And it has the bonus park called Fort Arachnism. Overall, a fantastic game.

Oh...my god...this product is dangerously adictive

My kids play this game. It is run in a Windows 2000 environment. They can save their games and see that they are being stored in a proper directory. When they try to recall a saved game, the program aborts! They have never been able to recall any saved games. Is this a problem with Windows 2000? How do we resolve this issue? Please e-mail me with a proposed solution at novene@juno.com.

This game is pretty cool but not nearly as addicting or as well done as the Sim line of games. The inability to perform certain function (speed up time, search for rides in your park by name, etc) makes managing frustrating. If you've played The Sims or SimCity, this is probably a step down.

GREAT GAME!

I think this game is great. You probably have as many options as you do in a real theme park. As the graphics aren't drop-dead gorgouas, they are satisfing. Here some pros and cons. Pros:

-You have lots of options in this game

-You can make the rides any way you want

-There are barely any gliches or gremlins

-There are more expansion packs (you still need RTC for the expansion) Cons: -All guests are grown men with brown hair

-Rides can crash and people can die( or drown, if intended)
